Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

I'm not sure Cheika has the same logical thinking you do. I'm afraid Cheika will base his opinion on Cooper no matter if he is at 10 or 12. So might as well start him at 10. I think he did this on the EOYT 2014, where QC (Quade Cooper) played terribly on the wing and was given barely any game time from the...

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

But if Foley continues his lack of form and Cooper has an absolute shocker at 12 - which is more likely then him having a shocker at 10, then how do you justify Cooper for the next game at 10? His confidence would be even worse then before. I think the likely outcome will be Cooper on the...

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

That's probably likely. Cooper on the bench to cover 10,12,15. Which unfortunately mean Foley starting. Not surprising but surely Foley's last chance - again.

huge amount... really? o_O This is Cheika setting Quade up to fail. Either by ignorance or by desperation. Probably a little of both.

We need big forwards that like to go for a run with Foley too. Probably more important with Foley given his current form.

I like this back-line. I'd select this one too. Too bad they never consider Folau on the wing, even though he played his best test there (B&I Lions).

I actually think it's worse then Robbie Deans. JOC (James O'Connor) at 10 was bad, but this is insane.

Skelton.... he's just a big Simmons minus the line-out skills.

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

Fair call. I think we can be competitive with the Pooper plus Fardy and 2 jumping locks. I think that's the minimum though at test level, and certainly against the wallabies.

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

McMahon is right on Hoopers heels. Not proven yet (IMO), but he's getting there. Also a better option in the line-out. Timani is an unknown, possibly a harder hitter and even more effective around the park. It's a risk to start him but theirs only one way to find out right? Plus he does have...

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

Never said anything about height. Experience certainly counts though and Hooper has minimal at jumping in line-outs. Like you said, he's slow off the mark and easy to read by the opposition. Maybe Moore knows this and throws lower? I think even McMahon would be a decent option in the...

Not if you take set-piece into consideration.

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

This only applies to Hodge, Timani, Colman, and Allatoa and maybe Kerevi. You could argue swapping anyone else won't have this effect as they are all experienced Test players. Therefore I wouldn't exactly call "wholesale changes" to the following: Moore for TPN - although a big call Mumm...

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

That's the issue though isn't it, he has a few good runs because his first instinct is to run instead of setting up the back-line. This isn't just based on last night either, refer to the entire England series, last years RC, EOYT 2014. Unfortunately it's seems RWC15 was the exception not...

Surely you'd put Foley in 12 before Cooper though.

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

Talk out of FoxSports News - Cheika will have no hesitation starting Cooper at 12. He's really lost the plot if that happens.

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

You'd imagine they'd have McKenzie on the bench before considering him as a starter purely for his impact off the bench - similar role to BB previously. Perfect way to inject him to test rugby

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

I'd drop Moore first. Which is what he should be doing next game with Moore. I think it will send a clear message through the whole squad no-one is safe for consistent poor performances, not even the Captain.

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

There are many small changes Cheika can make that won't have a huge effect on the team structure / tactics etc. You'd expect these are easy decisions to make: Dropping Simmons, Fardy for McCalman, dropping Kuridrani, Sio for Slipper etc, I think we will see at least a few of these changes...

I'm looking forward to watching A.Savea from the bench. Also I've always been a doubter of Cane but he played really well last weekend I can see why he's first choice. But Savea is just so entertaining to watch!
