Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

Pococks comments in the media were pretty sensible. All he did was priase the All Blacks and say the wallabies have a lot of work to do. There's your Captain.

5th choice. Lilo would have been in there too.

He doesn't have to wear his jumper around his neck like that.... Looks terrible, deserves all the baggin he gets ;)

That's what we said about the NZ backline last week and then look what happened ;)

Sio plays tighter. Both Slipper and T. Smith play very loose for a prop. Probably a fair reflection of the stats you put up. Although I think Slipper is in better form so I'd still start him, but don't let stats give you a false impression on a player.

Yep can't work my head around Skelton over Timani.. or even McMahon for that matter. Timani must be a dud at training.

This is taking the back-line back to traditional aussie styles: 9. Gregan = Genia - solid passer with strong combination with flyhalf 10. Larkham = Cooper - playmaker 12. Horan = Foley - ball runner into holes, support runner, second distributor 13. Herbert = Kerevi = Big ball runner, Crash...

Last time Fardy tried to play 80mins, he dropped the ball twice cos he was goooooone after 60mins. Hooper & Poey always seem capable. Hope Fardy's fitness hold's up.

Foley's skillset on attack is certainly that of a 12 - consistent solid runner into holes, okay distributor. Not so sure about defence, and obviously lack of experience. Although To'omua shined when he came on at 12 beside Cooper - and I don't think he had played a game at 12 either, he was...

Nah Mumm is backrow cover, Skelton is lock cover. So say goodbye to the line-out in the last 20mins if it's not gone already.

Especially when you go a player like Slipper on the bench. Although an in-form Sio is an awesome Prop. He was immense in the RWC and last year at the Brumbies.

fixed. (has DHP scored a try yet?) ;)

Kuridrani on the bench is odd given he can only cover 13, which means a re-shuffle is inevitable if he come onto the field. I guess there aren't any other options.

I can live with that. Moore saved by being the Captain. Keeping faith in Sio - I'd prefer Slipper but I like Sio so I can live with that.

Absolutely. The evidence in the amount of mis-matches in Aus forwards to NZ backs - where Baurett easily capitalised numerous times shows how poor of a structure it is. I thought the idea of it was to avoid mis-matches. Clearly it isn't working.

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

Exactly. One poor kick that doesn't find touch puts a shit load more pressure on forwardw given they have to re-align and defend another set of phases instead of having a much needed rest. Or hitting 20 plus phases on the goal-line because the backline lacks creativity has got to be so...

Well he probably ran harder and stronger then any of our current forwards.

I think they can see a possible solution in the backs. Eg. Cooper for Foley. It's more difficult for the forwards. Only rookies to choose from. Eg. Drop Simmons for Coleman - probably still won't do much as I don't think anyone here would expect Coleman to come out and be anything more then be...
