    League Targets

I'd say so, unless there is some Raiders player desperate to come to rugby but stay in Canberra (lol) it's probably the best fit for him.

    RWC jerseys

Wallabies store offering some retro world cup options, including the iconic volcano vomit jersey: https://wallabyshop.com.au/collections/retro-jerseys Something like half the price of what it costs to source these vintage in good quality.

    RWC: Pool C - Wallabies v Fiji - Monday 18 Sep 2am AEST

At this stage there is a solid chance of Samoa instead of Argentina.

Interestingly the smh has the tahs with no knowledge of the talks, whether that means RA are lining up a different destination or that they just want to get him in the game and work out where later it's not clear:

As an aside it was great to see him so vocal and commanding there. My biggest reservation when he was named captain is that he has a reputation as a quieter player, so to see him taking charge like that is fantastic.

A bit of both I think? I expect they'll come out firing but if we have them in hand 60 minutes in they may start to fall away.

I'd be bringing Frost onto the bench for Gleeson and starting Fines-Leleiwasa - White is not playing poorly but he is looking like a square peg in a round hole for this team, so I think Isaac is better fit with McDermott out. I'd also have Kellaway on the bench for coverage, not entirely sure if...

    Wallabies 2023

I'd have IFL starting with White on the bench, but agree on preferring a 5-3 bench. Not sure about the back subs otherwise though. Definitely Kellaway there, having Foketi with him is probably better coverage but Vunivalu is in much better form. Might come down to where Kerevi is at fitness wise.

    Wallabies 2023

Couple of steals, lead the tackle count for the Wallabies and a good run in heavy traffic to get us to the tryline ahead of Donaldson's second. Beyond that he generally made a mess of the Georgian ruck, but given we had 57% of the possession there's going to be less opportunity there.

    Wallabies 2023

Not off of the evidence of his brief stint against Georgia. 1 carry running too tall into the defence to give away a turnover. At this stage I'd only really be looking to run him against Portugal. I'd be dropping him off the bench to bring a lock in for the Fiji game, possibly including Kemeny...

    Barbarian F.C. v Bristol Bears, 8/9/23

Sounds like Paisami might have picked up an injury, hopefully nothing too serious. A double from Wilson and it sounds like O'Connor had a great game - nearly scored and end to end try and kicked all his conversions (6/6)

    Rugby World Cup 2023

Bodes particularly well for Fiji against Wales. With a core of drua players very used to the heat they couldn't ask for better conditions against a northern side.

I think Gordon will still be taking the place kicks, even if Donaldson starts. I think at this stage they want to give him as much time as possible to build form there. That may change if there is a kick to win it towards the end, but that seems unlikely.

To take 5 centres when only one of them offers cover outside of the centre? Seems like you're throwing the balance way out when you can instead just bring Ikitau back in for an injured player once he's fit and ready to play.

    Concussions and Protecting Our Players

There's a pretty good chance we'll see concussion stand down periods move to 21 days in the next year or two off the back of the senate inquiry: https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2023/sep/05/australian-needs-national-strategy-to-reduce-sports-concussion-senate-committee-says

Would've been one hell of a gamble to name a squad with only 2 fit centres for the first game of the world cup.

It's great to see that sunshine coast grammar pathway really developing. Seems like a steady stream of guys coming through the last few years.
