Strong fight back from Easts to take the lead on half time

A great run from Mapa but he needed to throw the pass at the end there.

Easts props with the silky skills and sharp running lines! Shift them into the centres

Never thought I'd miss the Deans/McKenzie retrospective....

    Concussions and Protecting Our Players

There are some pretty strong developmental arguments for it - by removing the core competitive aspect it resets focus to learning and executing skills and understanding the game, rather than winning by size which can be a massive crutch in under age contact sport where there is so much...

Yeah, West's try line defence and the management of their two yellow cards has been excellent. If they go on to win that will be the reason.

Paisami looks to have found his feet again finally after an injury interrupted season

Yeah, the Olympics work can't come soon enough for that precinct, I don't think it's ever fully recovered from the floods.

I'm 90% sure it's because this is the beginning of the Regulation 9 release window: Technically it started a week or so ago, but everyone was playing matches so it didn't really matter yet. With most teams now going into a few weeks off between last weekends games and warm up games a week or...

    Australian Rugby / RA

It's a good time to be sniffing around the Broncos list, particularly if you've got multiple targets - cap pressure is likely to force at least a couple of them out

Still a very good chance for it though - it's entirely likely that none of Skelton, McDermott or Slipper start against Portugal/Georgia in which case there would have to be a new captain - no one else in the squad has ever done it.

    Wallabies 2023

Won't it only be 2 first time captains for the year? Slipper (2015 vs USA) and Ala'alatoa (2022 vs Italy) have both captained before. It will be 3 in a 12 month period though. Edit: And 5 different captaincy arrangements (Slipper/Hooper, Slipper, Ala'alatoa, McDermott, Skelton) in 5 tests seems...

More likely 23 I think, taking a 'utility' instead of a backup 10 really sounds like we're going to be going for 6-2 more often than not.

Even better to drop in at half time in full kit, shedding the parachute and running straight on to the field to take his place in the side

So Eddie confirmed O'Connor is in Darwin as a training extra, but interestingly brothers have named on the bench according to rugby Xplorer. May just have been in case they had him available though, who knows when they found out versus when the team was named.

It's funny, it doesn't feel as tah heavy as it is. I think it might be because there's only 3 of them in the best 15 and maybe one more on the bench

Eddie did correct him on Jorgensen, said it would be 2 or 3 weeks and he should be right for the warm up against France.
