And if it was an afternoon Test as well... that would make a huge difference in Canberra.

    Brumbies 2017

Enough centre's. Just want a solid flyhalf and a fullback and I'll be happy.

You know what I'm looking forward to next year: 6. Timani/Holloway 7. Hooper 8. Holloway/Timani I think its superbly balanced with line-out options, big bodies, link players, hard-hitters. Then McMahon coming from the bench and upping the tempo.

Fair enough, pretty disappointing numbers from Canberra. I do like the idea of the afternoon time-slot. Should help with numbers.

    The Wallabies Thread

Even though Sydney and Brisbane have a larger capacity in their stadiums I'm not so sure they will draw larger crowd numbers - given they have Test's every year including Bledisloes and Rugby Championship games. Personally, given the increased novelty factor of holding a one-off test in...

Wales vs Australia, 5 November 2016, (1:30am 6 November AEDT) @ Millenium Stadium

Can't believe there isn't a Foley V Cooper thread with 3000+ posts. Anyway, I'd like to see Folau on the wing for this Test so we have another North V Folau battle. That was a beauty in the Lions series. Both up there as best on field with Folau coming out on top. I don't think DHP is...

Should use this as an opportunity to have a few games in places other then Sydney & Brisbane. I'd like to think Canberra would sell out. Not that it matter to me given I'm moving to Brisbane in 2 weeks.

I wouldn't mind paying just for rugby but to pay ongoing fees for Foxtel when I only want the rugby sucks. I hope your wrong but unfortunately you are probably right.

You don't. We all sleep instead then watch the replay when hopefully some nice chap uploads it on YouTube. Because screw BeIN Sports.

I think he means putting players through gaps. He didn't do that on that occasion, he ran the gap himself (not that it was wrong in that occasion - it was great play but built on his individual running game not his passing or vision).

WORLD RUGBY AWARDS 2016 (November 13)

If that is the case I think Barrett will win easily. If it was MOTM votes maybe Itoje has a chance then. Is this the same timeframes as the Australian Awards? I'm trying to figure out how on earth Folau won it last year ahead of Hooper and Pocock.

WORLD RUGBY AWARDS 2016 (November 13)

Just to clarify what is the exact period of games the votes fall in? Includes last years Spring Tour, June Tests and Rugby Championship? For NH: Six nations, June Tests?

Consistently = no-one. Peak performance = Ardie Savea.

While we are at it can we have Foley's running game and ability to take the ball to the line, support play combined with Coopers passing/distribution and play-making vision, with Dan Carters general play kicking, and Wilkinsons goal-kicking and defence.

You can't ignore the mistakes especially if they are a large contributor in costing the team points.

Think Foley's performance is a little overstated. Foley threatened the line superbly. Was very impressive in that department indeed. But then there's his kicking game, and that didn't improve at all. It actually cost us points once again. So do you pick the guy who's a threat in attack but...

That's also probably more indication Foley will start at 10 given his combination with Phipps and the fact he was preferred last test. :(

I'm stunned to think people don't recognise sarcasm on an internet forum. There should be a sarcasm font.

Really? That's very surprising. I'm guessing the domestic countries have that control?
