Yes, and their lack of composure at the death was telling. Higgers or Moore should be running the show. Both have captaincy experience. Kerevi is a developing player and does not need the burden of the captaincy.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

The ARU has to be re-built from the ground up. The handling of this illustrates just how inadequate and ineffective the current organization is. Not to mention that it has dealt a hefty blow to an already struggling sport.

Kerevi will be there. He just makes too many yards to be ignored. The question is where will Beale fit in? Then you have Hodge and Hunt competing for a squad spot. Tough choices to be made.

    No room for Kerevi FP?

Higgers at 8 with his back of the scrum skills and speed off the back with Timani at 6 if he can get back to where he was last year. Both Hooper and Higgers carry the ball and play a little wider at times. We need a 6 who will get stuck in at the breakdown, in defense and just work all day long...

There is not much on offer. I reckon we will see Quade and Beale spending time there. KB (Kurtley Beale) could be the long term 10. I know we have seen him there before with little success, but he has matured as a player and has the game for it. That could well be the plan Cheika has for him? Kurtley with...

I don't think having both McMahon and Timani in the same back row makes any sense. Our lineout will be under pressure again. Id start Higgers with McMahon on the bench covering all 3 back row positions with the intention of replacing Timani at 40-50.

    Reds 2017

There appears to be a distinct lack of direction and of a common understanding of what the game plan is when we have the ball. The Reds had enough ball on the weekend to win two games. 9 & 10 are problem areas, even with QC (Quade Cooper) fit. The set piece and forward grunt is there, as is the firepower...

Round 5: Brumbies v Highlanders, Sat 25 March, 7:45pm AEDT - GIO Stadium

It was the Brumbies to lose. Godwins charged down kicks and Powells loose play at the base cost the home side dearly and handed momentum(and the lead) back to the Highlanders. Agree on Fainga'a.

It was a little tongue in cheek. Just don't want to see 3 sevens squeezed into a 23 this year.

Surely with Pocock out of the picture we will get some respite from the midget back row? Timani at 6 is an excellent call. McMahon not showing much at the moment is he? I would have one George Smith in the mix ahead of him on current form. Higgers at 8? We need to have a strong lineout moving...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I like this idea. If you play somewhere, anywhere in Super rugby then you are not considered an offshore player and are eligible to play for your test side. You could spread some of that NZ talent out and give a side like the Sunwolves a better chance of success. Of course it would have to be...

    Rebels 2017

Its more likely that Laurie will return to Canberra I would say. Link is the guy.

Jono Lance is more than solid. I reckon that Cheika will see KB (Kurtley Beale) as a 12, a second playmaker and a way to bring Folau into the game. Also if he starts at 12 we may not need a backup 10 on the bench.

KB (Kurtley Beale) is a huge player for us moving forward and I hope Cheika can convince him to return. He becomes even more important with Foleys medical issues at the moment. There is some outstanding young talent coming through but we are really lacking playmakers.

    Rebels 2017

I think we will see KB (Kurtley Beale) back for next year but most likely at the Tahs. There is no reason why Melbourne should not have been an instant success as a franchise. They have the city and the sponsorship to attract good players. I have to say that maybe it is time to change the coach. Laurie Fischer...

He's a Melbourne lad too is he not? Its a bit of a poisoned chalice at this point although I'm sure he could turn them around to at least have a respectable showing this season.

    Round 2: Hurricanes V Rebels, Venue TBC, March 4 @ 3:15 AEST

They are not doing themselves any favours in the Oz Super rugby cull stakes whereas the Force are showing a lot. Did not see this game and do not care to watch a replay but surely the score shows everything you would need to know about this one, and maybe somethings you would not need to know...

Round 2 - Force vs Reds, NIB Stadium, 2nd March @ 6:30pm (AWST)

Pretty terrible performance from the Reds but take nothing away from the Force. Chance Peni is a star. Is he eligble? The whole Force pack should take a bow for comfortably rolling a pack with 7 wallabies was it?

Round 2 - Force vs Reds, NIB Stadium, 2nd March @ 6:30pm (AWST)

I reckon its going to take him a while to adjust to the speed of Super Rugby. He seemed to slot back in to the Pommy game seamlessly. He may always struggle in Australia? Hope not.
