That sounds like some more depressing results coming up. Hopefully the ARU has a backup plan if we do continue to have less than satisfactory results. Somehow I doubt it though.........

He is the most likely candidate when he returns if it is not Hooper.

Pocock should captain when he returns. I assume he will then play out his test career in Australia.

I'm thinking more about what we do when the other side has the ball. Yes, we could clean up our kicking game a bit, otherwise our attack is OK.

FP is Michael Cheika and I claim my Gr&G Koozie! I don't think we should not attack. We do it and do it pretty well. The problem is we concede too many points. Balance is needed but defense and the set piece should be a focus. Any backline with Foley, Beale and Folau and some speed out wide...

I'm sure his job is a tough one and it is easy for us the keyboard bandits to be ultra critical. However, we are still the fans and most here have a very good understanding of, and love for, the game. The BILs showed how to put the ABs under pressure with line speed and making most of their...

Yes. It appears as though Cheika is having trouble finding the players to carryout his gameplan. I don't see this bunch as being much different from the last and the opposition will be a step up. Happy to be proven wrong but cannot see it right now. We definitely need changes in the way we...

If Timani is at 8 I would go for someone with a lineout presence. Probably RHP although he may not be fit enough for Cheika just yet. I reckon Higgers at 6 with Timani at 8 would also be balanced alongside Hooper. Hanigan is not there yet. Ditto for Dempsey. Hardwick is really a 7 or bench...

I'm not sold on Hunt at 12. He did a good job after being thrust into the position in June but our play over those 3 tests was sub standard and our defense not the best. I reckon KB (Kurtley Beale) will be the long term 12 with Hunt a super sub on the bench. With KB (Kurtley Beale) at 12 it will be easy for him to slot into...

I am more confused about having no back up specialist 10 FP. At least one or both of Lance and QC (Quade Cooper) could have, should have, been in the wider squad. Same with Higgers. None of them may have made the final RC squad but they all are deserving of a spot in this wider squad. Coopers runs in June were...

That is paper thin and puts a lot of pressure on Foley. To not have a backup 5/8 in a train on squad of 38 that will likely have another 6 or so added from the Brumbies is reckless, being that there is not a recognized fly half likely to come from them(Lealifano has not had any playing time this...

No RHP? Doesn't make sense really for a train on squad.

I believe the biggest issue in Australian rugby right now is the coaching. We do have the cattle to put out very competitive sides but the coaches must prepare the players physically, mentally and tactically as well as hold them to task if they do not meet the required standard. Right now...

I would say that you start with 6. Higgers 7. Hooper 8. Timani and have Fardy on the bench. RHP can be Fardys understudy and get some game time after the Bled tests. If he is ready put him on the bench in the second Bled.

So who will be the 8s?

I want to see him too along with Fardy to show him the way. Higgers needs to be there as an 8 I would think. He was a bit meh as well but has a more rounded game than Hanigan. If we have a big tight 6 then Higgers will compliment Hooper well.

Is it true that he was not offered a top up from the ARU?
