2016 Under-20 Rugby World Championships - Manchester UK

I think he meant that with pools of 3, everyone plays 2 pool games then QF's

Junior rugby based on weight classes

Me either, but no one has suggested that here. Huge 13yo's will still not struggle with 14yo's.

Junior rugby based on weight classes

Small kids playing down,is currently an option. Making monster kids play up,is my idea. There are plenty of small/average kids that quit both league & Rugby in 12-14 age groups due to size mismatches. It's a real issue.

Junior rugby based on weight classes

Rugby has had age/weight dispensations for many years, whereby small kids are permitted to play down an age group. This is a subject that's been discussed many times, but IMO the best way is to continue is to allow small kids to play down, and at the same time, have weight caps in each age group...

Wallabies v England, Sat 11th June, 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

Not for me. I would pick To'omua every time over Lilo,in any position.

    Waratahs 2016

yeah, you're right. A 7 team comp is always a better alternative to a 10 team comp......

    Waratahs 2016

Not an accurate analogy at all. The funding for NRC franchises, the player costs, and the ownership models are completely different to those of the ARC. Without the support of SS,the NRC would be much weaker than it is.

    Waratahs 2016

No, if all the SS disappeared, they could not be replaced by what are currently weaker clubs. It would mean that the current structure was no longer viable.

    Waratahs 2016

Well yeah Rugby would survive. Just as it would if the Tahs were removed from the Rugby landscape. It doesn't mean that both the Tahs & SS don't add significant value to the game in NSW.

    Waratahs 2016

I don't think anyone has suggested that. My understanding is that many are proposing that the SS is a better development option than the various koala clubs. I see backs who have spent years in elite squads who still cannot draw & pass. I see a young guy who's been playing SS since he left...

Townsend Melrose Cron Are all better options IMO

Right end of the table? IF the semi's were next week, they'd be watching, not playing.

From the outside, it looks like your guys need more action, less talk:)

    Waratahs v Chiefs - Round 14 - Friday 27 May 2016

Horwitz is two years younger, but has been contracted with Tahs for three years. Lucas had a one year EPS contract prior to this year. Every time Horwitz steps on the field,he proves he's not up to it. Lucas had his worst game last night, but IMO is far and away the next best 9 after Phipps.

Rugby League players who could have/could make the switch

Obviously they liked Lousi's body shape, and thought he had potential, otherwise they wouldn't have signed him. Because on results he'd be packing down in 1's or 2's with West Harbour. And yeah, I do see players equally, that's why I don't like to see proven failures jump the que. Cheika is very...

Rugby League players who could have/could make the switch

Tomane would have been described a semi regular 1st grader at worst at 21, not a failure. Milner Skudder played 20's in League, then played a few years of ITM Taqele is a bit unique, his value add & his deficiencies were obvious. Lousi pretty much makes my point,as a full time Waratahs squad...

Rugby League players who could have/could make the switch

If the point is to pick up a bargain,IMO they should be recruiting within the game, and give someone an opportunity. Not pick up someone who had an opportunity & failed in a similar code. but please, list the attributes that a failed mungo player should demonstrate, that indicates they would have...
