    NSW AAGPS 2018

14A and 15A to New. Didn't stay beyond that. 15A is New's weakest age group, so that's a good result for the boys. 14A a very good game of rugby - 3 tries to 2 in the end.

    NSW AAGPS 2018

They're supposed to. New did it last year in almost every game in the 13As - one game they finished with 11 on the field.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

It costs them more to run the super teams than the money they get from the broadcasting agreement. Not sure which thread the RA financials are on, but this has been discussed there.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Want something to read. You're the one in fairy land you cranky old fool.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Indeed, those of us who identified much of what is now happening were for years dismissed and insulted on these threads. Only when the full scope of the incompetence and strategic failures byy ARU/NSWRU/QRU became too great to be contested have many posters come around to the reality of the...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

On another thread you decry the lack of civility and complain about people throwing insults around and then you post something like this?

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Glad the penny has finally dropped. EDIT: In fact Cully could have lifted that entire article from this thread. The super rugby ship is sinking, hopefully Australia doesn't go down with the ship.

    Shute Shield 2018

Three great fixtures to have on TV.

    Shute Shield 2018

Anyone know what the TV game is this week. Assume/hope it's Manly v Warringah.

    Shute Shield 2018

Give us your tips Wamberal. What do you think are the Woodies chances this week?

    Shute Shield 2018

Games this week - starting with the big one - a crowd of 7-8 thousand expected. Manly to beat Warringah by less than 10 Uni to beat Easts by 2 tries or more Wests in a nailbiter to beat Eastwood Norths to beat a brave Parra by 20 Souths to beat Gordon by 20 or more

    Shute Shield 2018

I assume that Kurtly already has a car, so I hardly think he'd move clubs on the basis of something he probably neither needs nor wants. How these things tend to work is that the company provides their vehicles to the organisation and it's generally the company which decides which players they...

    Shute Shield 2018

I'm not defending him, I'm attacking them. It's possible for them both to be wrong. If they don't want their business associated with anti-homosexual views then how can they do business in countries where it's against the law?

    Shute Shield 2018

No because that would mean that their moral posturing could hurt their profits.

    Shute Shield 2018

Sounds like he's going ok if he can afford to buy a Lambourghini for $500,000. It wouldn't surprise me if he found driving the Land Rover around to be a gruesome sponsorship-pleasing chore if he has a Lambo in the garage. I assume that Land Rover have also withdrawn their product from...

    Hurricanes v Reds

Given their crowds, why aren't the back at Ballymore? I'm sure that Mark McBain would be able to do a bit of maintenance to fix the joint up.:)

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I can tell you that Brookvale Oval is worse. On every metric - no scoreboard at the moment, toilets date from the 1960s and there aren't that many male or female, field is substandard, electrical system borderline unsafe.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

^^^Although, having the Waratahs playing at a ground which is falling apart is probably quite apt.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Indeed, I recall full page ads with NFJ spruiking Concord Oval as the Twickenham of the south. Well it certainly went south didn't it.:) Still one of the best grounds in Sydney, but shamefully underused. A better venue for the shambolic Waratahs than decaying Brookvale Oval.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

But amateur administrators are usually only adequate, as they have a real job during the day. From my observations, rugby administrations around the world weren't much better or worse than Australia. It's paying people 6 figure sums which requires premium performance and it's here where the...
