Indeed, 14s and 15s New v High games are at Queens Park in order to keep age groups together. EDIT: It's a pity that Augustines and Pius couldn't do the same last week as alternate teams in every age group were at opposite venues, which made things quite difficult. Wouldn't have been too hard...

Suspect that the 1sts match will bring more pain for New this week. Would love to be wrong, but can't see them beating a very good Waverley team. Age groups will be interesting - suspect very competitive matches in the A games. Always hard to tell once it gets beyond the As.

High 1sts are playing Waverley 3rds this week. All other High teams are at Newington playing New C teams. Will be good to see High back at Stanmore - it's been 3 years or so as New haven't been in the 3rds competition.

Scots should win well. They're the benchmark.

You can never judge a Scots age group on 15s as half the year group are at Glengarry. EDIT: There is at least one boy from last years' New 15As playing 1sts at the moment (and probably only 1 I'd imagine)

I would have said that a week ago, but the Joeys loss to Trinity suggests it might be a two horse race (not that one should ever discount Joeys).

Couldn't agree more - last year when New played Shore at Northbridge, there weren't enough grounds, so the 14s played on the main ground at Stanmore. A far better arrangement than playing off site at some cow paddock

There's no roster system and wasn't last year - athough in years before that there was and each age group had one or two rounds off site. For the last 2 years the 14s age group are shunted to Tempe every week. St Augs won the 1sts - not exactly sure of the score but it was something like...
