It's his thumb. Worse case scenario they can cut the damn thing off.....he will play

@TGFan Switch 12 and 15 and start Simmons and I reckon that will be it. Its doubtful that Cheika will start Tui, as much as I would also like him to.

I thought Hanigan was OK again. He was busy but still struggled in the physicality stakes. Against England maybe starting with McCalman is a better go but our lineout could suffer. Either way is fine. Having Tui available is a big bonus and I reckon we will see a 6-2 bench.

Are you suggesting the ARU concede defeat in next weeks game right now and avoid the possibility of injury, or god forbid a win, and just prepare for Scotland the following week? I take it that you have not yet seen England-Argentina.

Not really. He and McMahon are on par pretty much. When Pocock returns we will need a 6 who is a legitimate front line jumper.

More or less as expected. Hope to see big games from Hunt and McCalman from the bench.

Could be that Cheika wants Kerevi to add some spark in the attack in place of Folau? Either way is fine but Hunt 12 with KB (Kurtley Beale) at 15 looks pretty good to me and I hope we see that for the Poms.

I can give the WRU a call and see if the players are willing to have the test at 3am local time. Will that work for you?

We need to go with our strongest side this week to lay down a platform for the England game. The only change in the pack I would make would be McCalman in for Hanigan with Ned going to the bench. If Tui is fit(unlikely) he either starts with Coleman or comes onto the bench. The backs pick...

Maybe we should play Sio there. How about that one out the back of the hand after a double jig? QC (Quade Cooper) mkII.

Foleys option taking and ability to execute is much better than Hodges right now as you would expect.

Foley is just more organised and effective at releasing the players around him and he runs into holes whereas Reece tended to pound it up into contact when he ran yesterday. Hodge did well and will get better. I seriously doubt he will be chosen ahead of Foley at 10 in any important test match...

Hodge did very well but also made some schoolboy errors when option taking. He will get better and will be much better with Beale at 12. His goal kicking and touch finders were a revelation Foley is by far the better 10 at this point but having Hodge and Beale in the 23 gives adequate cover. At...

Hodge 9 out of 9 and a serious cannon on his leg when kicking out of hand.

Hunt was impressive in June, mostly for his uncompromising defense. He really shored up the midfield and filled a position that we were struggling with. I thought Hodge went pretty well at 12 as well. However, despite this and his obvious big game experience in other codes he still has a lot to...

Japan vs Wallabies, Nissan Stadium, Yokohama, Sat 4th Nov 4.40pm AEST

I'd say that is flat out wrong. Hunt has shown nowhere near the same level of talent as Hodge has. Hodge is faster, links better with other players, reads the game better, kicks for touch and goal much much better. For me he is Morty mkII. TK is a very solid player but he has had his lulls in...

Tough gig for Hodge with Kerevi at 12. He is no second playmaker or a first receiver. The forward pack is very strong so we should have a multitude of possession. Hodge is very talented. He has not failed anything he has been asked to do so far, but I reckon he is a 13 or 15. Should be an...

Love to see Blake Enever on the bench, assuming we will start with Coleman and Simmons who both can run the lineout. I would guess that he will revert to a Hanigan/Hooper/McMahon back row and McCalman will be the perfect bench option. If Foley gets an early spell then most likely Beale goes to...
