    Wallabies 2021

Yet to see that KOB. I most certainly wouldn't like to see KB (Kurtley Beale) back in any role. Too many issues both on and off field. I have no wish to see Hanson playing test matches at this stage, and I have no expectation that he will be called into the squad, but as a long term investment it might pay...

    Western Force 2022

I have such high regard for Fines-Lelaiwasa that I'll be very disappointed if he isn't knocking on Wallaby squad selection come RWC23. I do expect him to start for the Force in 2022.

Still attracts the cheese wherever he plays, apparently.;)

Can anyone definitively say what/who constitutes a foreign based player? Eg, are Cooper and Kerevi foreign based? They certainly don't play in the Super Rugby competition. Those who are foreign based or I am unsure about include : Latu, BPA, Arnold, Skelton, McMahon, Cooper, Kerevi, Koroibete. Also...

8 With due respect Reg and his disrespectful retort to my earlier post, I have an inkling that KP used the Ikitau story and attributed it to Petaia. That was the oblique point I was making.

Interesting history for Petaia. Almost identical to Len Ikitau's intro to rugby until he signed with the Brumbies rather than the Reds. Can't say that Len has any issues with his rugby smarts though.

I reckon you've really nailed it there TSR. Quick accurate ball from the breakdown was a joy to behold. And it really does cause no end of trouble to the defence.

My take from yesterday is that Petaia is essentially a 13/winger while Wright looked a lot more comfortable at 15. TW injected into the backline and showed an ability to distribute to players outside, while JP has very suspect handling and distribution abilities. If either one is to be regarded...

A poster who puts forward a preferred Wallabies side that contained no Brumbies at all (maybe one on the bench)? Pretty fair indication of his mind set I'd say.

Careful D. You are risking the wrath of one of your dedicated Waratah (Brumby hater) colleagues.

Interesting you say that, because as far as I know both Petaia and Wright usually play 14 for their Super Rugby sides, when they actually play on the wing. Am I mistaken?

You disagree BT? That's ok by me, but I'd be interested to know if you rate Kellaway better than Petaia.

Kellaway > Wright > Petaia on today's showing.

Scoring tries does not a MOTGM make. Excellent performance by Kellaway again but it is the work of the players setting up the play that wins, or loses, games. The second half showed exactly how important Quade is to this team and just how effective he raises the performance of the whole...

I thought it was a requirement that the leading arm had to be attempting to wrap. Tupou's leading arm probably was his right because he hit the Argie with his right shoulder. His right arm was hanging loose behind his arse, so there was demonstrably no effort to wrap with it. Would be...

Yeah, that's right Adam. Just like I don't rave about the crooked throws by Kaitu'u or BPA or Uelese either. If you hadn't noticed, there are many here who are very quick to criticise the players they don't like but are absent with comment when said player does something good to exceptional...

Could easily have been, and probably should have been a YC to Tupou.

Anyone giving some credit to FF (Folau Fainga'a) in that try. Absolutely sliced the defence and set it up. Awfully quiet on the thread though.

D, Mack's eligible for Ireland. If Rennie doesn't snaffle him with a bench spot at least on the EOYT, then I fear he'll be playing against us soon enough.
