    TRC2021 - Wallabies v Pumas @ Townsville 25/09

Doesn't need the cannon with a run like that.

e was Hodge's cannon in that early contest of the boot?

    TRC2021 - Wallabies v Boks @ Suncorp 18/09

I haven't seen any replays D, but my clear recollection is that he did have both hands on or aiming for the ball. It was certainly a reckless act that should have been a red card and some significant holiday, but to be fair I think he was going for the ball rather than the man.

Will be 27 at the end of the year. Hardly a kid, and really now at the age he ought to be producing his best. According to Wiki, Fainga'a 6 months younger, BPA a year younger, Uelese 2 years younger and Lonergan 4 years younger. Just putting it in some perspective.

What would the players have to do to each other to guarantee selection again next year?

Reported where exactly? I've also heard reports that ABC was carrying news that JOC (James O'Connor) would be in 15. Wasn't Hodge starting at 15 also a rumour before the last test?

True Pfitzy but I reckon McMahon is the same. In my book Sean should come on to the bench, if at all in this match, and Pete should get the reward of the starting spot.

Don't agree. Samu always runs in the wider channels and gets called out for seagulling by a few here. The other usual backrower when not injured was Lachie McCaffrey who also played wider. Rob was/is mostly the player in tight. It took a while for the Wallabies coaching setup to identify that...

    TRC2021 - All Blacks v Springboks @ Townsville 25/09

IMO the Boks will simply be run off their feet. Can't see that backline giving the ABs any concern at all. Didn't fire a shot against the Wallabies. ABs by at least 25.

I think Pete deserves a starting spot before Sean too. Sean needs to show what he's got now before getting to start. My only issue with Pete is that he might go to 8 and Valetini moves to 6 - that was how I saw them in the final stages of last week's game. If that also alters the role that Rob...

I reckon Tom's still well and truly in the frame with the coaches as he's running the water and passing tactical messages along during games. I agree, he's the forgotten man with fans here, as was Pete Samu before his largely surprising recall to the test arena. In Pete's case, he was kept...

Kennedy's signing strengthens the back row and maybe at lock (height 1.96m, weight 110 kg). Apparently has shifted between lock and No 6 at Scarlets. Think the side will be pretty well stocked now for locks, Swain, Neville, Frost and Hooper, and backrowers, Valetini, Samu, Brown, Reimer, Scott...

    Brumbies 2022

Doesn't appear to be a 12 backup in the squad yet; maybe Iona fills the reserve 10 spot, but imo won't be suitable at the 12 position. I'd like to see Tom Wright given time in 12. He seems to read the game well, has good hands, can break the line himself and can kick. Looks like he has played...

RC - Wallabies vs Springboks, Gold Coast Sunday 12 September 8:05 PM

Gel, I reckon the Wallabies have been fair to good for most of their games this year. Just very poor for about 15 - 20 minutes. If they can play consistently at their good level for 80 minutes they could give the Saffas a run for their money. But yes, the Boks will probably be too physical for...

FF (Folau Fainga'a) is as good a lineout thrower as any of the others, but he will need to curb his tackling technique to stay on the ground.

But Tahs, Reds and maybe Rebels fans will be lining up to knife the Brumbies if they lose (as they predictably will - and would with 11 from any other province).

It is getting better, I believe, and due respect to eastman, I reckon Harry Wilson is a better player than Lachie Swinton, though definitely lacking form atm. Play Harry at 6 and I reckon we'll see him at his running and linking best again quite soon.
