So a good first half by Japan, New Zealand hasn't been too flash but have capitalised when they had the opportunity.

Japan v All Blacks, Tokyo, 2 Nov 2013

Broadhurst has to be Japanese MOTM so far. Doing the job of every forward and more.

  5. RoffsChoice

Japan v All Blacks, Tokyo, 2 Nov 2013

Both tries have come from Japanese mistakes. Eddie Jones nails that out of them and they would be up by 6.

Loving the work of both scrumhalves.
  8. RoffsChoice

Japan v All Blacks, Tokyo, 2 Nov 2013

Japan winning the breakdowns and making the good metres. Not joking myself into thinking they'll win but they're not being put the the sword just yet.

Japan v All Blacks, Tokyo, 2 Nov 2013

Eddie Jones has recently been saying how the biggest thing for the Japanese was to be better at being physical. They have been very good in all contact. Japan won a penalty at the breakdown, converted. Score now 6 - 7.
  10. RoffsChoice

Japan v All Blacks, Tokyo, 2 Nov 2013

Broadhurst, the Japanese 7, ripped the ball from Dominic Bird in the lineout and Japan won a penalty from the play.

Japan v All Blacks, Tokyo, 2 Nov 2013

Japan with a good period of attack in the NZ half, NZ not doing too well at the breakdown.
  12. RoffsChoice

Japan v All Blacks, Tokyo, 2 Nov 2013

Japanese fullback kicks the penalty, not an easy one but not too hard.
  13. RoffsChoice

Japan v All Blacks, Tokyo, 2 Nov 2013

Japan kicks deep, pressures well, gets the ball back and then gets the penalty from NZ offside. Japanese forwards seem a little slow to the breakdown.

    And of course Carter converts.

Loving the game so far. Japan has a great scrum and lineout.

Australia Vs. England, Twickenham, 2nd November 2013

Really glad to see Quade has grown up. He'll be remembered well if he keeps this attitude.

    Brumbies 2014

Laurie is still coaching the forwards. What I think will happen is Bernie will say "We need to be able to do this" and Fisher will coach the forwards on what they need to do in order to do it.

    Rebels 2014

Would you prefer a 10 who knows how to win the game even if they are technically mediocre, or a 10 who can do everything well but doesn't know how to use his skills to get ahead? I quite liked Hegarty at 10 and think that if another 10 isn't signed he and Stirzaker should start a season long...

    James Horwill stripped of captaincy

He was Brumbies Captain v the Lions in 2012 and was very meh. His strength is his experience, not his authority.
