    Rebels 2014

All three potentially Wallabies, none of them really great right now or fundamental to the Rebels. I think Cordingly is a good enough recruiter to get good players in their place.

All Blacks v Wallabies, Dunedin, 19th October 2013

How much of Harris not being selected was due to injury?

    Rebels 2014

Really nice to see the Rebels make their own website, shows a professional attitude about how they interact with the world.

    IRB Annual Awards 2013

I know there are still six odd weeks of tests left, but I still think this is worthy of discussion. Who do you think deserves player, coach, team, referee and try of the year for 2013 at this rate? I'm going: Player - Jean de Villiers Coach - Heyneke Meyer Team - All Blacks Referee - Nigel...

All Blacks v Wallabies, Dunedin, 19th October 2013

Liking the idea of Kuridrani at 12, could be a very JdV style player. It is an unfamiliar position for him, however, and I wouldn't be asking him to try it out for the first time against the All Blacks. With Harris, I feel it's just getting a backup 12 that fits the Lilo mold. Link clearly...

I'd say AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) on one wing, Folau on the other, Foley at fullback.

Pretty sure he's quoted as saying "Even if the ARU doesn't release me, I'm going."

All Blacks v Wallabies, Dunedin, 19th October 2013

I think we might see Harris called up just for the goalkicking.

    Super Rugby 2014

ARU has been pretty comical when it comes to spending the last few years, no really shocked.

All Blacks v Wallabies, Dunedin, 19th October 2013

I remember Link touting Quade at 10, To'omua at 12 before the first bledisloe, and it worked pretty well against the argies. I'd be happy with it.

    Rebels 2014

I'd say a scrum half and a fly half would be the two you want.

    Brumbies 2014

    Ha ha very funny :P

Piutau would be a good long term prospect, as would Bateman.

    Gold Coast 7's - 12 & 13 Oct

More than 20% of the competition points the Australians got in 2012-13. I'm expecting a top 5 finish at this rate.

That second try conceded was weak.

Good start by Ed Jenkins! Captaincy suits the man very well!

All Blacks v Wallabies, Dunedin, 19th October 2013

Simmons and Timani have both been 5 on the G&GR scale in their games, and Horwill has struggled to out-perform. If Timani was staying around next year I'd go for Timani and Simmons.

Gotta keep the torso going as well, but bikes are better for the legs than jogging. Good for us :D

    Gold Coast 7's - 12 & 13 Oct

The key is that fatigue doesn't set in. Have them doing stretches and light jogging.

If you could change the laws of rugby, what would you change?

I'd have a harsher penalty for repeated scrum infringements. It would make scrummaging more important for the forwards to get right and the fans would (in theory) be subjected to less resets. Plus, scrum collapses three times with no fault, have a lineout instead.
