Genia is just not able to do any of the following: Box Kicks Passes from the ground Quick play Good decision making

The build doesn't make the player good at the job, the work of the player does that. If hardworking Simmons shows up, he'll be good. If sookface Simmons shows up, doesn't matter what size he is.

Confidence is shot right now but still hoping for the win. If we are great and then back it up against Ireland I'll be happier.

If we consider Mowen and Simmons our lineout callers, then right now Simmons gets the nod ahead of Mowen on form alone. But I think that Mowen moved to 6 will help him get better and should be done ASAP.

Awesome, thanks Blue. Only ever seen him at LHP for the Cheetahs.

Vote of confidence in Piatau, good on him. I still think Jane is one of the best wingers in the world but I understand this.

There were one or two errors by the officiating team but I do not believe it made a difference. The loss was down to us, referees have bad days too.

I think Fardy is better than McMeniman and Higgenbotham needs to earn the spot back, but he does need to do better to say the spot is his.

In regards to my belief that Link will fail and that he will drag the Wallabies down with him

Coenie is a LHP though, isn't he? Why would he be concerned with who plays THP?

Okay, McKenzie has pulled a Deans to the nth degree. The good thing about Deans is that even when he picked players who you weren't expecting, we still won the game. But this shit......... I do not understand. How the hell are Slipper, Alexander, Timani, Horwill and Genia still in the team...

    Long Term Combinations

Nic White is not a kickbot in the style of 2011 Morne Steyn. He kicks according to plan. In early 2012 we saw that he was running a lot and passing a lot, kicking very little. As the Brumbies game plan developed he started kicking more and more when in his own half. Even when he has a...

I'm agreeing with @Dumbledore here - while it is excellent that Fardy is doing well, he is really just doing what is expected of him. We should be expecting that whoever we play at 6 will do these things at the very least. I'll say Fardy owns the spot when he does more than just what I expect...

We need to give players a rest but given our form this also isn't the time for a B team. Give Moore, Horwill, Hooper, Genia, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) and Folau a break. Robinson, Fainga'a, Kepu, Simmons, Timani, Mowen, Gill, McCalman, White, Cooper, Cummins, To'omua, Kuridrani, Tomane, Foley Moore, Slipper, Alexander...

I had confidence when I posted this. How did it evaporate so quickly?

The Springbok team to face Wales is: 15 Patrick Lambie, 14 JP Pietersen, 13 Jaque Fourie, 12 Jean de Villiers (captain), 11 Bryan Habana, 10 Morné Steyn, 9 Fourie du Preez, 8 Duane Vermeulen, 7 Willem Alberts, 6 Francois Louw, 5 Flip van der Merwe, 4 Eben Etzebeth, 3 Frans Malherbe, 2 Bismarck...

Just being a fool. He looks like the idiot here and now either way he's the loser.

    Long Term Combinations

Combinations make good players better, but you're right, there's always a trade off. If the player in that combination isn't performing, don't pick him.
