    Long Term Combinations

Front row of either Sio, Moore, Alexander or Robinson, TPN, Kepu. Skelton and Pyle as locks Fardy, Pocock and Higgenbotham as backrowers White-Lealiifano or Genia-Cooper as 9-10 Speight-Folau or Speight-AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) as wingers To'omua-Kuridrani as centres Mogg at fullback Of those, Pocock has the most...

Italy v Australia, Sunday Nov 10 2013, Stadio Olimpico

McKenzie saw Mortlock's try against NZ in 2004 and thought "THAT'LL WORK! WE'LL DO THAT!"

    Long Term Combinations

@Bairdy forgot all about Manu! If he's available and does well next year, he should be called up.

    Clyde Rathbone

With Cummins, Tomane and CFS all so unreliable at the moment, would you consider bringing Rathbone up? His consistency at 11 would add quite a bit of starch in defence and his nous would help in attack.

Wales vs South Africa, Sunday 10 Nov, Cardiff

I'm in the mind of Meyer right now and that's what I'm seeing. He won't go without a second 10 and I don't think he'd drop Serfontein or JJ right now. If it was my team, it would be Fourie at 13. I don't rate Lambie so it would be Goosen as my backup 10.

Wales vs South Africa, Sunday 10 Nov, Cardiff

That Wales team looks damn good. Basically the Lions. I think we'll see a RSA team of Beast, Battleship, Adriaanse, Etzebeth, Botha, Louw, Alberts, Vermeulen, FdP, Steyn, Habana, JdV, JJ, le Roux, Kirchner Strauss, Oosthuizen, Malherbe, Flip vdm, Kolisi, Pienaar, Goosen, Serfontein And I like...

    Long Term Combinations

I'd say Ruan Smith, but he still has to stick around for another 2 years to qualify and you don't throw him into the pool of death in the world cup to debut. If we could somehow get him earlier he's basically Scott Sio except on the other side of the scrum. Carter and Pyle would be a good one...

    Long Term Combinations

Stealing this topic from every Wallabies v Someone thread. Of course combinations are important, so developing them should be as well. A good front row that knows each other, locks that balance their push because they know how the other is going, a back three that knows when to help out at the...

Australia Vs. England, Twickenham, 2nd November 2013

Genia has just looked done since the Lions tour. I don't care what he used to be, the player he is now is not worth a gold jersey. Mowen picking the ball up for Genia seems to be a call he gets from Genia. All part of the "plan". There isn't a backup or a plan b. There is the "plan" they are...

Italy v Australia, Sunday Nov 10 2013, Stadio Olimpico

All the players kicking like that makes me think it was part of the plan. We saw against South Africa in Cape Town that McKenzie's idea of a percentage game is to kick it every time you have it, maybe it was just more of the same?

Australia Vs. England, Twickenham, 2nd November 2013

I give some blame to the team, but the majority does go to Link. I'd say our plan wasn't suited to a test at Twickenham but it doesn't look like we had a plan.

Welp. Their scrum is even better.

Australia Vs. England, Twickenham, 2nd November 2013

Slipper, Moore, Alexander, Horwill, Genia: Pine time for you. We were bad. At least we were okay against the All Blacks in TRC. God damn Genia. I know I've made it clear I don't like him but god damn it! Burgess has a better and quicker pass after his elaborate mating ritual than Genia did...

Australia Vs. England, Twickenham, 2nd November 2013

I know it's no secret that I don't like Genia, but I would have preferred Genia was taken off for Kepu and Alexander went to 9. God, we need a 9 who not only knows when not to kick, but can when has to.

Eh, Berry was a meh referee but that was a complicated situation and I think he was right to give it.

Japan played really well! Proud of them.

Second half not going too well for Japan. Stuart Berry has made a couple of questionable calls.
