I've had kids do both codes for many many years. The more serious/ higher level coaches in league actually coach kids not to pass! Rep coaches with the philosophy that some kids are literally not permitted to pass the ball under any circumstances. Players that are criticised for passing the ball...

I think full contact is a feature of Cheika training sessions. I don't believe that players would be needling up for a training session.

He is a runner, not a distributor. Which limits his upside in tight games. If Cheika won't pick him at 10, he shouldn't pick him at 12 ( where he normally plays a distributor)
