I’d hold off on Beale until we see some performance in Aus. I support him going for it, but it’s a long shot. I’ve become a Porecki (and Holoway) fan on the back of lineout performance. They need to continue showing it. Yes around the field Fainga is better. That’s not enough for me. BPA is an...

Nice work. However, Beale at 15?

No idea. Faith in Decent there, but OK not imagined. "The reason why is not understood." In deed. Let alone 'who then'. A bit of arrant nonsense.

?? Sounds like an outright slur to me.

I like it. Mostly. Differences are predictable. Drop Lolo and Foley starts. Add Neville to the bench. It might be too early for Nawaqanitawase, though he is definitely due. I remain unconvinced by Wright though he was fine last outing.

No one is saying he should oust Kerevi but I'd suggest that he edges Foketi. I'd give it to Simone but there isn't much in it.

If the result of White not being a primadona would have been that we did not get a penalty (and card to opposition) - so be it. No room for it. Slipper remonstrating, as captain, is a another matter. Not at all the same.

We are in the northern hemisphere where we just k now the referring judgement calls are different. People have been warning about it for ages as we lead up to the RWC. If Pearce is the standard we'll do fine (not to say that the chatter should not stop). The reffing was fine.

Good with the math as usual - apologies. I'd have to go back over it, but your comparative assessment of throws is different to mine. If BPA is available he can go 16 with Porecki starting. I'd start Skelton - presuming he is looking OK in training and that it proves he can lift Hooper...

The rankings seem OK for me. What is not laughable is this number. 9.

Massively important is the line out. I would not be changing a single individual in locks and hybrid lock/6. These guys stay for me. Indelible ink.

That game I think was a turning point for me. I am actually starting to find the Wallabies hard to watch. Ignoring that for a moment: Fabulous work from the line out. Just fabulous. It's been unconvincing for so long so it's great to see a line out at professional standard from the Wallabies...

All Blacks & All Blacks XV Tours 2022

I'm not so sure. Absolutely Japan have strengthened majorly, but I think the score was about right at the end of the day. You are possibly right about the AB "aura" but I guess that means a lot of different things to a lot of different people. The big issue I think is Japan on the improve.

Fabulous rugby entertainment. Thanks to both teams and well done the winners. Kinda building a soft spot for the Blossoms all the same. ;)

ABs starting to open up. I do love the Japanese disdain for opinions on the way that test rugby should be played. Entertaining for sure. It's not going to be winning against New Zealand.
