    I stand corrected. Thanks Slim.

Eh? Neither are starting. If we had Phillip with say, Neville, I wouldn't have made the comment.

I get that these two are pretty much the last two standing but I don't share your enthusiasm. As far as I am aware, neither is a line out caller? I realise we have pulled in Holloway for this. It remains odd though if there is no recognised caller in the starting locks. Our line outs have been...

The problem is that the Wallaby 23 may prove very beatable too, depending on what version turns up.

I'd agree but there is a plan - Kellaway to the centres if that happens. We are covered out wide.

From the Roar: https://www.theroar.com.au/2022/10/27/wallabies-team-rennie-hails-jocks-great-story-ahead-of-debut-tate-starts-at-no-9-and-hoops-picks-himself/ Campbell is joined on the bench by Noah Lolesio – deputising for No10 Bernard Foley. Where Rennie has previously gone for the all round...

Swapping centres doesn't provide cover without a back up. Noah to 12 is a stretch in my view, moreso Foley. I'm less worried about wings but the centre depth looks problematic to me if there is an injury. Yes it looks like Foley/Lolo to back up the centres. Cross fingers Paisami and Ikitau hold up.

I missed the Hodge omission - yes we'd be stronger with him, but how would you fit Campbell? There's not a lot of back up in the centres.

Barring Wright it's a team I like. Yes I get the Foley thing but he did seem likely to be the one. I would have swapped Tate and White but it works for me. Pleased to see Holloway at 6 - this reads as planning for Skelton in the row. Awesome to see Campbell at 23, hope he gets some time.

    I love tautology.

There is nothing wrong with a territory game plan. There is something wrong with implementing it poorly.

Sorry mate, wasn't expecting that, have deleted my comment as well.

    That's almost disappointing.

    Hmm yes. One kick out.

Love the take and could be something in it. I think both Ireland and France are long shots, but then so were NZ and Springboks and we took 1 each.

So malt for the next test? Gin for England, Stout for Ireland. France and Italy open the opportunity for decent red. Wales? The ale was OK but I'd suggest reverting to an Aussie red.

Test that it hasn't spoiled, top it up, seal and re-certify. Been a long time since I've tried Grange. There's no need to spend the cash unless you're a serious collector.

Yes Will comes in later. I still think that if they desire that to be regular through the EOYT they should be working the 6 role (and the back row generally) knowing that is coming. If Will is just a possible bench or Italy play then stick to our best options.

MS I don't disagree with the idea that we should put forward our best 23 and avoid experimentation. Unfortunately if Will Skelton is to take the field then experimentation is exactly what is on the cards and we would need, I think, to build for it. In that case 6 should be a hybrid lock. IMO...
