  1. Joe Blow

    Australia v England

In KBs defence his confidence was quickly drained when he was moved to 10. Not a good move by the “selectors” when Toomuas return was imminent.
  2. Joe Blow

    Australia v England

If KB (Kurtley Beale) is out of favour, which is fair enough, they absolutely should have gone with Kerevi at 12 and Folau or AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) at 13. Foley at 12 against a big bustling English centre pairing must be a joke?'
  3. Joe Blow

    Australia v England

Not at all. I’m looking for sneaky win this weekend.
  4. Joe Blow

    Australia v England

I could not be more dissapointed than I have already been at times throughout this year.
  5. Joe Blow

    Australia v England

Maybe. We have had some pretty limited players in our back row at times. The man’s big and has decent skills. Once Poey goes down we are very light on at 8 in this squad, actually we are even with him fit.

    Australia v England

When are we going to get a team? Looks like Samu is on standby for Pocock. We lose a lot of beef in that exchange. I wish Valetini had been given a run off the bench last week. Or That Holloway or Higgs was included in the squad for this exact scenario.
  7. Joe Blow

    Australia v England

It’s not the same English side of a year ago, but the same could be said about our blokes. Should be a good competitive test.
  8. Joe Blow

    Australia v England

I agree with most of that but a backline that can tackle offensively and push back the Poms will help put Pocock and co on the ball and our forwards on to the front foot. Our main issue against quality sides has been that we ship too many points. Often we score enough although have not been...
  9. Joe Blow

    Australia v England

Why is that? I know it’s not going to happen but where do you think it would fall down?
  10. Joe Blow

    Australia v England

Probably not. I would suggest that Foley will start and probably KB (Kurtley Beale) as well which leaves the bloke who is most suited to test footy on the bench. If we can shut England down in the first half we will have a pretty good shot. Having to hide half of our backline will once again prove to be a bit...
  11. Joe Blow

    Australia v England

Why not? Defensively that starting back line will be our best for a very long time. Foley and Beale can work their magic when it loosens up.
  12. Joe Blow

    Australia v England

He could be there in place of Sefa. They both offer the same thing.
  13. Joe Blow

    Australia v England

I’ll give it a roll. Mind, this one will be decided at the coal face. 9 Genia 10 To'omua 11 DHP 12 Kerevi 13 AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) 14 Naivalu 15 Folau Bench Phipps Foley Beale/Banks
  14. Joe Blow

    Australia v England

Yes we are, overdue actually. Let’s hope that’s enough.
  15. Joe Blow

    Australia v England

That’s right. We will see. No doubt he has improved, particularly his defence. I wish he would look for space at pace rather than seeking contact and then trying to overpower his opponent. You rarely if ever see him make a clean break like TK or Folau. I’m sure it is something he can learn to do.
  16. Joe Blow

    Australia v England

I might be the only one here but I am still not sold on Kerevi at 13. He was good last week against a very average Italy. England are a different kettle of fish and a couple of years ago he really struggled against them. I would actually have Folau at 13 until TK comes back and/or Petaia steps up.
  17. Joe Blow

    Wallabies v Italy 3-2-1s

    3 Rodda 2 Pocock 1 To'omua
  18. Joe Blow

    Wallabies v Italy

Then he probably should not be on the wing. 15 or 13 for mine. I still don’t rate Kerevi above him or TK at OC. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) is probably ahead of him as well.
  19. Joe Blow

    Wallabies v Italy

Possibly. Having someone ultra creative like Beale at 12 bodes well for a solid option at 10 like To'omua. Foley is also creative but not as much of a threat. To'omua/Beale/Kerevi might be very good?
  20. Joe Blow

    Wallabies v Italy

Yes. Beale at 12 would give him the best comparison with how Foley performs at 5/8. Foley should be on the bench.
