    Wallabies v Wales (Cardiff)

We need to see if AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) is actually up to it. The game is getting faster.

    Wallabies 2018 Spring Tour

Not sure how you can put a racial spin on our inadequacies? Maybe an Asian coach would be better? What absolute rubbish.

    Wallabies 2018 Spring Tour

Yes, but I thought it was just a short term injury. Maybe not?

I wonder what it is with Cottrell that does not impress Cheika? He is the quintessential back rower. He can play both 6 and 8 very well and could fill in as a 7 when required. He is a legitimate lineout option, has a very good running game and often runs into a gap. He can pass and has vision...

Both Hooper and Pocock are excellent players and captains. Hooper will be around for a while. Skin colour and ethnicity have no place in our selection process. All available players are equal. except maybe the Tahs..........they of course have preferential treatment

They need to be looking at the most balanced back row as opposed to choosing the 3 best back rowers. But whoever is the 3rd must be able to front up at the coal face, have a decent running game and be more than semi-confident in the lineout. We don’t ask for much..........

Let’s not forget Jones, Fardy and Mowen(doubtful) none of whom are in the squad. If Hanigan is up to the gig then so are all of those blokes I mentioned bar maybe Mowen and Simmons. It’s an absolute mystery as to why both Cottrell and Holloway have not been at least be given a trot off the...

    Wallabies 2018 Spring Tour

Tui, Cottrell, Holloway, Dempsey and soon Valetini and Naisarani. Maybe even Simmons, who I would have at 6 ahead of Hanigan right now.

He’s about the same size as Hooper or Pocock so I would only have in the 23 if one of them is out. Both of them are 80 minute players as well. Better to have a larger lineout playing backrower on the bench.

Yes he made his mind up on Fardy and it turned out to be be a very poor decision.

    Doubtful Mowen but Fardy maybe.

Cottrell unlucky or maybe still injured? If so then Jed unlucky as he brings something different to the back row. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) will be there as a mentor for Petaia as much as for anything else. Nice to have Kerevi back. I have never been a fan but he certainly showed a lot in the last test.

I see that today is their last in Japan. Is the whole trading squad moving to Wales or will we have a refined squad?

Neither does banging your head against a brick wall with the same lineup that has been failing for the most part. Without changes in playing personnel and coaching direction there is no reason to suggest our results will improve. There are a few areas where improvement can be gained and 13 is...

    Wallabies 2018 Spring Tour

Yes. He has 13 stamped all over him but like several great outside centres before him he will most likely be initiated on the wing.

Koroibete is very good and under appreciated. I think Petaia is a more natural rugby player and has enormous potential as an outside back.

    Yes, the 3rds apparently

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

I think he is listed as a 15 at the Rebs but played his junior footy at 10. Maybe in the 3rds but I would guess in the 1sts. He was at Scots then playing for a while at Easts. It’s not as if we need any future prospects at 5/8......

Maddocks is a 5/8 by trade. Maybe best to develop him in that role from here on in? He’s still young and will get stronger over the next few years.

I would guess that Folau comes back into 13. How far off is Kurindrani? It would not be bad to see how Petaia goes at that level. Hopefully he gets plenty of time against Italy.
