Yeah there is, but personally I prefer an education where ALL kids are required to atend school every day Allowing a rock star to have a day off a fortnight so he can punt up his pay at the pub is not providing a holistic education.

No, I'm suggesting that an out of area student recruited to perform at a high level for the School,won't actually benefit from this holistic experience. And,further,that parents are not advised that the School will educate them to the level that will get them a career in traffic control if...

sounds great, and I'm certain many kids thrive in that environment. But not kids who travel for more than an hour each way, and are required to train before & after School 4 days per week. Which is what we are talking about. No northern beaches scholarship boys have gone on to uni to my knowledge.

That's a long way to go to School! I wonder what they think they are getting,that warrants all the extra effort? History shows its not for an education.

^^^^^ That's the worry for me. We just weren't in the contest for the opening 30. But different selections will only change things marginally. Marginal improvements wouldn't have been a solution in the first 30 last week.

Just read an SMH article stating that Cheika wants to meet with refs boss. I think he is better served watching first 1/2 replays to identify why we weren't in the contest. They led 17-0 and if anything,the score flattered us. The ref had neglible influence on the score line at that stage...

Strange, they had a test match mentality with regards to substitutions,which is contrary to the selections they made for the 23 for this game. Something was lost in the translation before the main camp moved on to Dublin.

Hodge played all his junior footy at 10,up to and including oz schools & Oz 20's. So he's clearly the best back up IMO

What's a super franchise worth? They had to pay the new guys at Melbourne to take it off their hands. There was talk a while ago about selling the Tahs, I'm pretty sure it wasn't the sellers that backed out.
