    Where to for Super Rugby?

This article suggests Japan is out and will be replaced by Georgia. https://www.irishtimes.com/sport/rugby/international/georgia-and-fiji-in-line-to-join-six-nations-sides-in-eight-team-tournament-1.4303333 Which means we should be on the phone to Japan to get them involved in any plans on...

    Australian Rugby / RA

Last night's game was plenty entertaining. I watched the Crusaders/Blues before hand and there were just as many balls going to ground or knocked on as with the Tahs/Force. The Tahs/Force game was actually more physical. Friday's game was a tough watch but last night was a huge improvement.

    2020 Super Rugby Round 2 - Waratahs v Force

For three scrums in the 2nd half. Prior to that they were pretty even.

    2020 Super Rugby Round 2 - Waratahs v Force

Hunt showed just how momentum building clever kicking and utilising the laws can be.

    2020 Super Rugby Round 2 - Waratahs v Force

Force never really in it in the 2nd half. Tahs controlled the play nicely. Much better game than last night. Enjoyed the physicality.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

    Protecting their investments.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Could be that they are thinking of using the MLR team as an academy set up for their Super Rugby ambitions. Which would mean they could split the squads and at least in theory remain complaint with the MLR cap. But again. If that's there intent they won't likely get past the current stage with MLR.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Nope. Not if they want to keep their licence. The MLR doesn't want to become a feeder league for the likes of the Premiership/Top 14 or Super Rugby. It has every intent on becoming one of the premier Rugby competitions in the world. They've opted to operate within their means in order to get the league...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I assume they mean they are looking at options of competing in either as contingency for not being admitted into one or the other. As from what I understand from the guys I have regular contact with who are directly involved with the league the league wouldn't be too pleased with split loyalties.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I think people are focusing too much on immediately arriving at a Super Rugby level competition. Where we should be looking at providing a competitive and entertaining competition with the goal of raising the standards over a period of seasons. Something akin to the Premiership to start. Which...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Not confirmed as a franchise. Confirmed that they have entered the 90 day exclusivity period where they have to meet the select criteria set out by MLR including proving that among other things that they possess the minimum $10m USD required to cover the licence fee's and operational costs for...

Super Rugby AU Round 2 - Reds vs Rebels

They mentioned it on the broadcast last night. But hey. Happy to be wrong.

Super Rugby AU Round 2 - Reds vs Rebels

Nothing wrong with the physicality. The hit on Hegarty by the Rebs 3 was class. It's just the hands and lineout execution it the issue.

Super Rugby AU Round 2 - Reds vs Rebels

It's wet out there tonight. My point is the weather shouldn't be as big of a factor as it always seems to be in Australian Rugby.

Super Rugby AU Round 2 - Reds vs Rebels

Hey, the 2nd half has been better. Which wasn't hard. But 4 tries.

Super Rugby AU Round 2 - Reds vs Rebels

It's not a lack of physicality that's hurt the game. There's actually been quite a number of very willing hits out there. It's the poor handling and dumb shit around in regards to penalties. It's almost as though that despite the season being in the cooler, wetter months neither team has thought...

Super Rugby AU Round 2 - Reds vs Rebels

Yeah. Perhaps you're right. I did think it was odd despite them calling Lukhan they didn't compete. Actually. Odd that they didn't even if it was the Reds calling it.

I'm done with this tonight. Hopefully tomorrow's game is better.

Pretty sure that was the Rebels mate.

Another try. Worked off a really nice set piece play. Come on. Please. Let a game of Rugby break out.
