Thanks Sid, I agree with your analysis and I'll have a look at Boileau's left-to-right next week. I was sitting within hearing range of the Wicks coaching staff in the first half and there was some criticism of Ford on a couple of occasions. Before Littlejohn went back to league I thought he...

Wicks won all grades and all colts -- WOW! Including a big win over Norths in colts 3's -- Norths were undefeated leaders before today PS: The pass to Tim Wright was from Nio Halangahu: the #10 in a hooker's body! Best for Wicks were Samu, Lam, and the two props Asa and Aho in the forwards...

    MANLY 2013

I'm risking going off topic here and being told off but can anyone clarify the foreign player rule re the Rebels? Below is from the ABC News website dated March this year: "Melbourne Rebels are allowed to recruit 10 foreign players, although this figure will drop over the next three seasons to...

Hey Ryan, what is the story with Leota?

    Shute Shield 2013

Agree, and most (if not all) of the club sites link to the NSWRU site now for the draw and ladder, etc.

Not surprising to see a canny Scot looking for a bargain! Wicks season ticket is $50. The sausage sambos are better at Coogee than Chatswood too ;)

The price of Grange has gone up so the SRU might want a bit more for the wine cellar fund ;)

Works for me too. The price might need some massaging but I like the idea.

Good point -- and that would be a shame

    Colts 2013

The Colts comp looks really competitive this year. Wouldn't it be great if we could somehow see grade and colts on the same ground? I know a few years ago they tried playing Colts 1sts on the same ground as grade, but I think there were issues with providing subs as a result of the colts 2 and 3...

I'm fairly sure all SS grounds are the same: $15 for adults $5 concession (pensioners, students) kids under 17 free

    Shute Shield 2013

I'm obviously baised but I think the Wicks might surprise Norths provided (1) the young backline can contain Chris Tuatara-Morrison (released by the Force) and (2) the forwards can hold their own in the scrums. I hate to say it but I also think Uni will end Souths unbeaten run.

    Absolutely correct!

MACCA, are you sure this is the same guy? I notice he is playing half back at the Bulldogs whereas he was playing FB with the Wicks and he was assisted from the field with what looked like a knee injury a few weeks ago unless my memory is confusing me (again!).

I agree, but Terence Hepetema is going well at 13 as well. I expect Horwitz may move to 10 at some stage this year. This week's game v Norths will be an interesting test for the young backline (average age < 23 I believe).

Brogan Roods has been named as a fresh reserve for Randwick 2nd grade v Norths this Saturday.

    Shute Shield 2013

I don't want to get rid of Penrith, but I really feel for the players. Seeing guys who are clearly unfit backing up for 2-3 games, being flogged every week, and looking absolutely exhausted is not a good look for the game. My preference is 12 competitive clubs in the SS. If this is not...

    Shute Shield 2013

Something's got to give folks! Penrith 46 v Randwick 428 across the grades and colts is not sustainable. I accept there are people working really hard to make Penrith competitive, but I'm afraid they're going backwards. Penrith 1st grade had beaten Randwick in their last 2 visits to Coogee but...
