    Wallabies 2023

The more that Carter Gordon shines the less likely it is that we will see Foley and Quade. How many of us have been watching Japanese rugby? By all reports Foley is flying. At a higher level of comp than Quade - if Quade was playing. Still I suspect we'll see either Quade or Foley, likely one...

    Wallabies 2023

Eddie has said once he knows what he wants in his team from O/S he'll speak to RA. RA have said they well listen to any proposal Eddie brings forward. He's likely to get whatever he wants.

Last time then rule 10: that won't be the back row if Skelton is in the 23.

    Wallabies 2023

You're advocating removing Holloway in a selection with Skelton on the bench. It definitely needs another jumper, the locks are taken so the only place left is the back row. Or call for removal of Skelton so you can disdain Holloway and Hanigan. Other alternatives might be LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto), Uru but we are...

    Wallabies 2023

You've got Skelton on the bench, dude. Holloway or Hanigan will be in the 23 somewhere.

    Moana v Reds 14/4

Zander dropped is understandable, but the two front rows have little to get enthused about. Depth looking pretty shallow here across the board.

    Queensland Reds 2024

I don't think I'm conceding anything to say I agree with this. Thorn is cooked, that's not really a new scenario. We can only hope that the next HC involves a search beyond the Ballymore car park, and that they've been at it for some time.

    Queensland Reds 2024

Last season imo was the time for Thorn to lay a claim for a coaching extension. He failed to do so. That is a different statement to suggesting Thorn should have been removed before the 2023 season. Unless there was an obvious hi calibre candidate right then that clearly could not be replicated...

    Reds 2023

Reds re-building? Let's be frank, this has been going on since Link left. SNAFU, it's the Reds after all. Can't wait to see how Reds management manage to ... oh hell, I'll leave it there.

Brumbies v Waratahs, Sat 1st April, GIO

Ah well, rule 10 I guess. IT was a great game otherwise.

Brumbies v Waratahs, Sat 1st April, GIO

BR, in my view you are not addressing the skew here, but yes I'm happy to accept that Brumbies have tightened their discipline - where that is defined as things are below the threshold likely to gain the ref's attention. Learning to adapt to the specific interpretation of the rules in the...

Brumbies v Waratahs, Sat 1st April, GIO

Take another look at the penalty count and see what you think. I am completely neutral having no great love for either Brumbies or Waratahs other than a useful contribution to the Wallabies - but that game was skewed to the hilt by a one-sided reffing performance. imo.

Brumbies v Waratahs, Sat 1st April, GIO

By the way that the Tahs played, they should not have been at "they had that game in reach". They should have been all over it. Berry's false calls continued through to impacting the chance of the Waratahs pulling it together at the end. Not a few bad ones, but several and involving cards and...
