    Reds v Crusaders - Round 6

Agree with Tate there. Murphy is not at all managing the stability.

    Reds v Crusaders - Round 6

Starting to really enjoy the Reds handling push. Turnovers are inevitable but that's OK if there ready for the counter.

    OK, let's call that enterprise!

Who is the D coach. That defence is porous.

    Reds v Crusaders - Round 6

Like Derpus I like the enterprise. But surely its needs to result in points every now and then or its, er, pointless.

    Reds v Crusaders - Round 6

Seeing plenty of this in the first 15. No points for it.

    Reds v Crusaders - Round 6

Hope so, but I'm not seeing it that way.

    Super W 2023

Force have been good, but I really like this Reds team.

    Reds v Crusaders - Round 6

Thorn on Rugby.com "You can have potential but at some stage you've got to realise it". Amen to that. And try to keep penalties to single digits, well for each half perhaps.

    Wallabies 2023

No, he didn't. He acknowledged the impact of combinations while laughing at the obvious commentator for spruiking the bleeding obvious. Eddie never accepted it as a demanded requirement for his team selections. My interpretation was that it might be a final issue if everything else was equal...

Not Fiji - leave that with the Drua.

    Reds 2023

Interesting query and obviously no, I don't. I recall for instance a discussion about him where Kearns spoke about a good lock behind the prop as a "comfy chair". And other items actually, but I'm not going to go hunting for quotes. I certainly don't know of any other lock discussed like this.

    Reds 2023

He is the only WB lock that I know from the last 10 years where props were openly speaking about his ability and rating it. I'd say Simmons is the very definition of the best scrummaging lock - in Australia anyway.

    Reds 2023

On the scrummaging locks a quick note. I'd be lining up the better scrummager behind the tight head prop. Another note, the lighter lock (if there is a palpable difference) is likely to be the better jumper. Simmons was mush appreciated by the props.

Really? Hell I'm no corporate commentator but that seems pretty odd. Well outside the role of the chair.

    Rebels v Reds 25/03 @ AAMI

Yeah, sort of. I think that Wright v Kemeny was much of a muchness, but Kemeny ahead by a nose. I think Wilson the best 8 on the field by far, but against the grain I think Wilkin out-hustled McReight, especially in defence. Overall the loose forwards were better for the Rebels. On the other...

    Waratahs 2023

Compared to the concern over equality (of the top up) this is an interesting query. How are third party payments treated under the cap? I would presume that they are included? If that is the case it will impact the Waratah roster.

    Rebels v Reds 25/03 @ AAMI

There is no doubt that the Reds need to improve discipline. In this game though, 12 penalties against the Reds to 9 against the Rebels. It's a pretty quiet night for the ref and not a huge differentiation. The Rebels were simply a better team.

    Rebels v Reds 25/03 @ AAMI

Sure, ESPN has Jock beating 5x defenders with 8 runs for 77m. But if we are talking how players went in this game, Pincus beat 4x defenders, with 9 runs for 110m. In D Incus has 5 tackles and an additional missed; Jock 1 for 1. I know comparing fullbacks is not exactly a FB v FB compare as the...

YEs of course. I just thought it amusingly applicable.
