I think the QRU should implement the shute shield version of the rules. Clubs like brothers and wests should not be hindered for developing 90% of the rep players they produce. where were these rules with souths in the 80s/90s when they had so much depth they had reds players playing reserve grade

In 2020 during Covid when gps schoolboy rugby was canned. Wests had a phenomenal colts team filled with grade 12ers (which missed out to the Kalani Thomas led south’s colts) I think this is a good proactive decision by these players having a run around in colts rugby before term 3
