Kefu also been pretty involved with bbc rugby - I think he was director of rugby - BBC up until recently was pretty trash… if you think of some of the players that have come thru that school (Gordon’s, Howarth, Hough, HJM, Ripley) etc. Kefu definitely worth interviewing and hearing his case.

this sounds like the same business case for Mick Heenan… bring him along under a more experienced HC. Heenan/Kefu ticket in same hiearchy as the dual coach pairing of Stiles/O’Connor ???

I think he’s made the switch from colts to premier grade quite well this year. wests has a stacked back row - last game against brothers he only got 5 minutes at end of game but he’s had a few starts this year and other than Ethan Dobbins he has been wests best pilferer of the footy.

7s should absolutely serve as a pathway to 15s there’s a lot of great rugby league talent who wouldn’t consider 15s but they may end up in our game via 7s route (travelling etc) the Aussie 7s team will be ok. Congrats on Lancaster - hard work into reward of a 15s contract

Ben Navo should be the only one who feels hard done by (benching behind a uncontracted player) - but even then he is the ultimate club man and just wants to see wests succeed. the other players (Hough, Skelton, Sorovi) were all benching behind other contracted players
