July Internationals 2023 - matches not involving Australia

Only for a fleeting moment. The rest of the time they have been doing what Wallabies do - falling off tackles, missing kicks for touch, throwing balls 3 ft in front of or behind the receiver, etc

Faf doing his best Quade. Not the Boks night.

Australia A - Back on the Cards

Not quite nothing, I know it’s not the rugby gospel but he was in the team of the week x 5 by my count, which would have him in the team of the year. Walton was the 12 for 2 games as well. He certainly wasn’t as good as last year, but probably more pertinently he and Perese didn‘t work as well...

I would have said Foketi? Perhaps I’m biased though.

    Australian Rugby / RA

I know this was amateur era, but Easts and Randwick are having a 30 year reunion of this game tomorrow - imagine if our clubs could run out players of this ilk every now and then.

    Wallabies v Argentina @ CommBank Stadium 7.45pm Sat 15/07

After reading that Uelese is about the only change that could have been made of your suggestions for this game, barring switching Bell & Slipper, but if Bell does go down then Slipper can come back on. Marky was one of the genuine finds of the EOYT last year. I'm not sure why Frost has been...

Thank Marce, good intel for me.

July Internationals 2023 - matches not involving Australia

There is no doubt a dodgy element to horse racing, but in the instance you are referring to there I suspect the horse was preparing for races over a longer distance and this was a lead up to that. Its fairly common practice in that situation not to flog the crap out of the horse as it will...

July Internationals 2023 - matches not involving Australia

Gambling can be a massive issue for some, just like any other addiction. I grew up around racehorses so having a punt is part of my DNA. However, I’m pretty restrained with it, I only bet small, it just adds a bit to the excitement of the event, especially when as a neutral such as in this...

Most have better access to information than people on the internet though, right?

    Wallabies 2023

Yeah look there’s no doubt Quade is a good player, and that certain coaches get more out of certain players than others. I’m just grateful there isn’t a Foley/Cheika version of you that we could watch you lock horns with.

Gee the Boks with a 6.5 start, or outright at $3.20 are good value I reckon. Or you could lay NZ if you have Betfair.

    Wallabies v Argentina @ CommBank Stadium 7.45pm Sat 15/07

There are 22 of them there by my count. I think because of your no confidence in Jones you are always going to find criticism in his selections, like you always did with Cheika. As we are all fully aware Aus rugby is a bit up the shit at the moment so it's a bit of a balancing act to make...

Not enough Brumbies in there? Close to the most morbid preview I have ever read.

I like this team however I wonder how/when he is planning to have a look at Kellaway.

Yeah I read that the other day and thought it made sense, a good way to achieve multiple objectives

    Wallabies v Argentina @ CommBank Stadium 7.45pm Sat 15/07

This is the thing, we can’t expect a new coach to suddenly catapult us to number 1 in the world. What we need to do first and foremost is arrest the slide in the rankings and start climbing back up them and improve the abysmal win/loss ratio we have had over the last few years. We need to beat...

Try the royal oak, fairly rugby heavy pub.....and good grub

    Wallabies v Argentina @ CommBank Stadium 7.45pm Sat 15/07

I tipped McReight to start even before the M Hooper injury. However, I now think it will be P Samu

    Wallabies 2023

I don’t think anyone has written him off, only that he he needed to go to another level to displace the incumbents for this years World Cup, and didn’t do that. It sounds pretty academic now that he is injured though. He definitely has a future.
