    Reds vs Force, Brisbane

Bit harsh I think Tranquility. Yes he was very ordinary today, but he has put in a few solid games on the wing this year. I started a thread recently which alluded to bringing on youngsters too early. I think DHP may be a good example. In time he will be a very safe 15, not a world beater...

    The Tahs

Spot on for mine WJ. If a crashballer is required then 12 is definitely the spot, ala Nathan Grey.

Bugger the negative stuff, first back to back since 2004 (?). Gee it is great to be a Reds supporter at the moment. They are in some good headspace ATM.

Brothers Vs Uni - gimp fight

Sydney Uni has got some real depth that's for sure. I thought their young blokes did the club proud. McDuling should have a contract..anyone from the Rebels reading this? Gendle for Brothers was excellent at 12, Dallan Murphy continues to impress me at 10, and Harvey (13) should get drafted...

The Superman thing didn't go too badly today did it?

Nothing to do with the hop, just bad ball security.

G&GR Reds Player of the Match (v Force)

    3. Cooper - far and away the best attacking 10. in the country. 2. A Fainga'a - great foil for QC (Quade Cooper), and must be plaing his way close to Wallaby selection. 1. Higgers - welcome back!

G&GR Force Player of the Match (v Reds)

    3. Hodgson - standout in a losing side. 2. O'Connor - poor buuger having so much responsibility for a young bloke, but a classy act nonetheless. 1. Fairbrother Watched it live, so not sure if I'm being fair, but a big rasberry to Wykes for what I thought were a couple of cheap shots.

Think Turinui is unlucky to be on the bench, so hope Diggers fires up. Vaalu is a good defender though and that may be the reason for his inclusion. Chambers on the bench is a good call , he still has plenty to learn positionally. As for rotating the locks, probably a smart thing to do. Byrne...

    Smelling an upset here.

    Waratahs vs Lions. Sydney.

Yep, as predicted. Lions looked like a team in the second week of a road trip. All credit to the Tah's though, that's a lot of points. And well done Drew Mitchell.

The case for holding them back (and a second tier comp)

Yeah I know.... that old chestnut. It's been really good to see the likes of the Fainga'a brothers and Rod Davies show this year that they really do belong in S14. Up until this year, most of us wrote them off as useless and not up to it. Now punters are suggesting them as possibilites for...

    Wallaby Squad Predictions 2010!

To be fair to Leroy he's not long back from a short injury layoff and looks fitter than he ever has before. Has been solid so far in the little game time he has had, and looked quite committed and involved when he captained the Qld A side a few weeks ago. As with a lot of his teammates, I think...

    2010 QLD Club Rugby

Great pity for Liam Shaw. Hot headed but honest toiler. Obviously rugby is big in the Shaw household so he will be gutted.

Brothers Vs Uni - gimp fight

I'm going to go along and hopefully get entertained. Good concept, bad timing perhaps, but Brothers supporters have put their hard earned up to host it, so deserve some rugby public support. Stop the whingeing everyone and get along and support club rugby. Who knows, you may get a glimpse of one...

    Wallaby Squad Predictions 2010!

I have a different theory on his defence. I don't think its an aversion borne of fear. It's more that the tackling style he has, was effective as a Junior, and allowed him to either pilfer ball at random or position himself well for the next play. It obviously doesn't work for him at this level...

    Reds vs Force, Brisbane

Hate starting favourites. Hopefully the Reds players will remember the disappointment of losing the last time they were favourites.... against the Blues. This is going to be a tough game, always was going to be. Don't know much about the new 10. but I am expecting O'Connor to get his hands on...

    Waratahs vs Lions. Sydney.

Quite right Paarl, Red boytjie through and through. Just worded it badly. I meant frustration for Tah's supporters, not that I am one.Quite the opposite. :) Blue, hope you're right, close games are usually the best to watch.
