    Reds' Frame of Mind

There won't be anything wrong with the frame of mind. I bet Link still got into them for that late Crusaders try. He is looking like a brilliant coach. Horwill's injury is a huge negative so I hope they can get over that. Who will be skipper?

    Reds v Crusaders

Damn straight we will need Van, given that Horwill will be out with an ACL injury. I could write a book on last night, but everyone has made mention of the good things. What I will say is how good was young Schatzy's debut...told ya! And I am really happy for the Fainga'a brothers, Rod Davies...

    Quade - the BBQ Entertainer

Churchie boy actually, but I understand the sentiment RW. He had actually already emigrated, as I understand, and then was spotted at a tournament.

Under 16s School 7s Tournament - Manly Oval, Save the Date: 23 & 30 April (Frida

Not a direct reply to your post Troya, but I notice there are three schoolboy sevens games as curtainraiser tomorrow night in Brisbane. Is this the tournament that the winner qualifies for?

    Quade - the BBQ Entertainer

Campo's goosestep was not a thing of beauty either, but it was effective. The "bunny/kangaroo hop is the modern day sidestep, and can be bloody effective. Just ask Drew Mitchell, who was made to look like an absolute goose by Cooper in a Reds/Force game. If there is to be a criticism I think he...

    Quade - the BBQ Entertainer

Every player has 'mares', give me a break. If he has these moments week in, week out then I will give your comments some credence. Robinson dropped quite a bit of pill last week and is regarded by some as the best in his position. Should we slag off at him?

    Reds v Crusaders

Good times indeed TOCC. Doing the same. Really looking forward to the debut of Jake Schaatz. Have watched a lot of his rugby over the years and have no doubt he will acquit himself well. Loving Link's work at the Reds. He has brought a much fitter side into the comp, and the committment and...

Funnies aide, I believe Quade is is one of the greatest natural talents that we will see in the game today. mock me now at your own peril.

    Progression Planning

We may see glimpses of some of these young blokes in S 14 this year but I think the real guage for a lot of them will be how they go in the club season, as most S14 players will also play a lot of the season, and in any end of year development tour that might be organised. The other measure...

G&GR Tahs Player of the Match (v Reds)

I'm going to go with Naza here. Apart from what he may have done in the scrum, it wasn't Fatcat's best performance by any stretch, for the reasons Naza gives.

    Lessons from round 1 (?)

And he did. Braid was magnificent IMO. Seemed to make it his personal mission to mark big Cliffy, and pulled off some great tackles. Waugh's leadership can't be ignored though. It was a significant factor in getting the Tahs over the line.
