This is very disappointing but it's convenient for players to blame the coaches when the team is under performing. At the end of the day it's the players not the coaches that have to get the job done on game day.

Wests have won one trophy back this year - the Paul Mooney (v Easts). So that's one step ahead in 2016.

Filth those type of stats are TT like. I think TT use to say 4 losses and you are on wood as far as finals footy goes, so sadly Wests won't return to the four in 2016 but there is still plenty to play for and some good times to be had at Kenmore this year. I like the look of Filth 2016...

No sour grapes Big Dog and no problem with anyone pumping up their club's tyres I am just conscious that I don't want you counting your chickens before they hatch because that invariably means you will end up disappointed - I am glad to see other clubs in contention for the top 4 just...

Don't get ahead of yourself Big Dog. Easts by all accounts are improving and did pretty well v Snbk and will get a win sooner or later, they are starting to get some U20 and injured players back; Norths in 2016 are a totally different proposition and provided an injury curse hasn't set in...

Wests will lift for the trip to Yoku Rd today. An improved defensive effort will see that this encounter is a close one. Despite only having one win they really aren't that far off the pace.

One of the main reasons why teams won't achieve sustained Hospital Cup victories is the nature of professional rugby once guys do well and take their club to the top they get identified by one of the Aust franchises and they get lost to QPR but that's one of the things clubs should be striving...

Settle Warhorse I think I still said Souths would make the 4 and all I was trying to say - not that I said it well - is that I believe in order to win the premiership you need a bit of luck I.e. Bounce of the ball, injuries being kind, form of the other teams who makes the 4, etc - for e.g...

Jamie sad but true Wests & Easts won't play finals footy. I think the top 5 is set just a case of who will be in the 4 - I predict that Norths will drop out through inevitable injury/depth question which presents over a long season - but hope I am wrong. Brothers would be my early pick to go...

Which clubs are likely to be the major benefactors from the U20s lads filtering back into QPR this weekend?

SX if my recollection serves me right Holmesie nearly always puts his hand up to play for Sunnybank whenever the opportunity presents itself. Maybe someone from the 'Bank can confirm.

I'd love to hear TT's theory!!! Wouldn't you Filth? This topic might even bring TT out of retirement!!!!!

Just because players grow up in the region does not mean they'll immediately return on mass - they'll have their own rugby progression ahead of the interests of Logan RFC. I'd be very surprised if Joel Faulkner (BSHS), Sef, or Jonny Wilder(Villa) jumped back to Logan, that doesn't mean that...

Reg it is ridiculous that QRU would pull the rug on QPRtv when they are saying that QPR will be either on 7 or 10 next year free to air. I would have thought an entre of QPR to a broad audience in 2016 would only help 2017 ratings. Not for one moment is this s criticism of QPRtv and what...

In what sense do you mean? Whilst not a man with a great financial mind but I would say that the $1.6M loss before depreciation disclosed at the QRU AGM last weekend would suggest otherwise!!!

Not strictly QPR but what's happening with Viva7s (school girls) I thought it was suppose to kick off in term 2 but I haven't seen nor heard anything?

What's the rule re throwing punches in Premier grade? I thought it was meant to be an automatic red card but the Wests#16 on Saturday was only (thankfully) given a yellow.

Reg the gist of my comment was more around Mafi - a Bros premier grade player - not being up to Super Rugby at this stage of his development.

Just on the Reds for one minute - why did they take Ready off with 2 minutes to play? Mafi's lineout throwing is not renowned and he stuffs that throw and invites the Blues down town. Why the Reds let Hanson go is beyond me - Chibba Hanson will be in the Wallaby 23 by year end.

Yes Pauly on yesterday's effort the Tigers are in for a tough year but looking at their backline I think Hagan was the only one who played Prems in 2015, and their forwards looked down on 2015 also. Where was Brandon, White, Gordon?
