Dizzle fair enough but your shit stirring particularly what would appear to be pot shots at - former GPS coach - Brett Picone, a bloke who won a premiership in his first year at Souths is not some of your best. I think you'll find that all clubs in Premier Grade from 2nd - Bros - through to...

Dizzle for someone who doesn't like criticiem (i.e. your "Dammers Haters" comment) you don't seem to mind dishing it out to the Souths coaches. Having said that going back to back is a tough ask - I think I said as much a while back because to win any premiership you need some luck and I think...

    Well done Dammers.

    QLD Premier Rugby 2016

I am not a "Dammers Hater" - don't know the bloke from a bar of soap but he's not done anything more at GPS than many before have done - that is get GPS to finish 4th/5th. Shane Arnold was the only coach to get them to a GF in the last 20 years. Good luck to Dammers 2016 side but I don't...

On NRC for one moment I have heard that the Sydney Stars are no more - they have joined the NSW Country franchise. Will be interesting to see whether There are a few of the Norths backs in the Bne/QC (Quade Cooper) squads this year. I don't know whether any Bulldogs will make it, Easts will still have a few...

    QLD Premier Rugby 2016

It has not been a great year for the Bulldogs. GPS & Bond have been on the way up as Brothers seem to have stalled, Souths are just hanging on - plenty of footy to be played yet but as always the real battle will be making the top 4 and it would appear that only Uni are the only certainty at...

Wests still alive in the battle of avoiding the wooden spoon after Easts went down to Norths. Norths 2 one point wins in 4 days v Wests & Easts. Well done to the Eagles.

Mate I don't know about playing out of the Gold Coast - it's a graveyard for professional sporting teams Giants RL, Soccer, Bne Bears AFL, NBL team, etc.

    QLD Premier Rugby 2016

Neilc - mate that means that we have lost some real X-Factor players from Qld Rugby over the last few years - you would have thought that one of the following would have been staring for the Reds by now: JJT, Greene, Placid, Toua, McMahon, UJ Sueteni but sadly they are all no longer a part of...

    QLD Premier Rugby 2016

I don't think Bros can win the Premiership without Greene - not because they don't have other options @ 10 & 15 but Greene was their X factor.

What ever happened to JJT - was it injury? As for other former QPR popping up elsewhere - 2 former QPR players on the NRL Rookie show in Peter Lee(Snbk) and Elias Power(Nths/Easts). Will be interesting to see how far they go.

Gee the Brumbies are doing well with a number of former QPR stars in Ah Wong, Toua and Butler. Did Arnold play for Bond/Breakers or just his brother?

    QLD Premier Rugby 2016

Well it just wasn't to be at Easts yesterday but the next two weeks will resolve the wooden spoon as next week it's Wests v Norths and then the week after is Norths v Easts. Wests v Norths is last chance saloon for the Bulldogs - they need a BP win. But well done to the Tigers who reclaimed...

Was wondering what the Reds thought of this - I would have thought he has to stick around until the end of the NRC but the Reds might be happy for him to move on.

    QLD Premier Rugby 2016

Reds returning to QPR won't help the Bulldogs!!!! Would be happy for Ready and Gunn to take their "active rest" and sit out this weekend for the Tigers. It will be an important match for both sides and I'd expect both sides to be up for it - really looking forward to getting a Tiger Burger...

    QLD Premier Rugby 2016

Wow this is a huge blow for Brothers. A Brothers with Greene on board would be premiership favourites in my humble opinion. Brothers without him?? At club level Greene has that X factor that you need to win a premiership. Massive game this weekend for the Bulldogs as they head to Tigerland...

I think the QRU tried to encourage the QPR clubs to switch games to Sunday but some of the clubs didn't agree to it. Maybe this has to do with the disengagement between certain clubs and the QRU.

    QLD Premier Rugby 2016

I tend to agree it will be hard work for GPS, Norths & Bond to secure enough wins to force their way into the top 4 so does that mean that the GPS & Bond coaches are under the most pressure leading in the back half of QPR16? They are allegedly on the best packages of all QPR coaches so surely...

Does anyone know what club Andrew Slack was referring to in his Sunday-Mail article yesterday? It just seemed like an unusual article for him to write. I suppose at least he is showing interest in grass roots rugby. In the world which we live engaging the school leaver is a real issue for...

    QLD Premier Rugby 2016

Wests seem to be in a ding dong battle with Easts for the 2016 wooden spoon, but the it seems that the future for the Tigers looks bright with 4 players (plus Harley Fox, now at the Rebels) in the Aust U20 side that beat NZ on the weekend. They also have Perez and Pilze on their books. Let's...
