    Poms Vs Wallabies

AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) played most of the 2nd half at 15 and JOC (James O'Connor) played most of the 2nd half at 12 in Tokyo. I would like to see Mumm start, not because I am sure he will do better than Horwill because our 2nd rowers need a shake up. Move Giteau to 12 or bring Cooper in at 12 and let them swap during the game...

G&GR Wallaby player of the Year: ABs (Tokyo)

3 Pocock 2 Ioane 1 Alexander (for his scrums, but has raised expectations now)

    4th Bledisloe in Tokyo

I don't think we are giving the all blacks enough credit - thought they were the best I had seen them play all year. The Carter-Nonu-Smith combo was very dangerous and the pigs hunted in a pack as usual. They made very few mistakes, other than their deliberate ones. Some ref is going to come...

    Berrick Watch

AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) to 12 is a bad decision in my view. Everyone looses, from Giteau inside him to all the men outside him. I would prefer Cooper at 10 and Gits as 12 with AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) back 15. We can stroke Git's ego by making him VC.

    Smith boned?

I suspect it is to give Smith a bit of a rest and I think he will be back for the 1st grand slam game unless Pocock has a blinder

Melbourne Super Bid favoured by TV

Please lets not all start this rubbish again. No one wins, we all lose.

    Too much youth over experience?

I am not sure Horwill is an automatic selection if Chisholm and Sharpe are also fit. Its pretty close between all 3 at the moment with no single stand out. Hopefully this changes on the EOYT and in 2010 as I could see Horwill or (dare I say it) Sharpe as el-captaino. In the meantime, I would...

I absolutely agree Scotty, thats why I posted the above

    Too much youth over experience?

I don't think Giteau has been given enough credit for his performance in the 2nd half V the boks at Perth. Yes it was after the horse had bolted and the boks had probably clocked off, but I thought Giteau lead our fight back there, took control of our play and was generally an authoritive figure...

    Too much youth over experience?

2008, the win (in durban I think) gave us the MAndela cup (which we handed back tothe boks in Perth this year).

    Too much youth over experience?

I can understand why Morty would be upset if no one had of sat him down and explained the choice of Rocky as captain. Poor form from Deans (and the other coaches) if this is true - lets face it its not bloody hard to have a 10 min phone call. However, its very hard not to suspect that there is...

    November Tour Squad

Who said Pocock never fails? Lets get him! Of course two tests starts is more than enough to draw conclusions about Pocock. Smith is still the no. 1 7 - but he won't be indefinitely and possibly not by 2011 - and his work load will probaably start needing to be managed to make sure we are...

Deans invites the public to Riverview “Trial”

There was a gale force wind in Sydney yesterday - throwing straight in those conditions may not have been seen as a good thing.

Obviously Elsom as Captain is no shock, but I wonder if this means that Smith might not start some games?

Pick your Wallaby team for EOYT

I really hope this is a case of poor journalism as we don't want anyone playing for the Wallabies if they are willing to take their bat and ball and go home if they don't egt their way.

    Beyond Belief

The mistake I was referring to is the poor performance on the field this year. I realise now you can interpret my statement another way, the players being asked to pick up the tab for the ARU's cancelling of the Aus A program. I guess it comes down to whether this is truly a trial or whether...

    Beyond Belief

I think the analogy is more like your boss asking you to work overtime to help fix up a mistake you made. Hard to justify extra pay in those conditions. Nevertheless ONeil's timing on this is beautiful.
