Suggest a new coach for the Waratahs here

Ed Z has come out today and given an unconditional statement that hickey will coach through to the end of next year. This was unconditional and seems a lot stronger than the usual “the coach has the boards full support” which comes out just before the coach gets dumped. Looks like he is here to...

    Waratahs v Blues. Sydney.

Re: Tahs v Blues I would like to see peoples serious responses to WJ's challenge, espcially given criticism of the tahs this year has been very forthcoming on this forum? Personally, I will be happy as long we we score more points than the blues. My feeling is that this weekend is crunch time...

Suggest a new coach for the Waratahs here

I reckon FP is on the money with Foley. My two other options would be Louden, who would have been coaching the tahs now if the NSWRU didn't f it up and Scott Johnson (who I suspect needs to coach at super level before being selected for the wobbs).

    Tahs v Force

Lee I agree with our comment if Waugh's replacement only had the same positional abilities at 7 but without the leadership skills. Langthorne, there is a bloke called beau robinson who can't even get a super contract but who was a very capable replacement for waugh when he was in his prime...

    The Carl Hayman Saga

I know this sounds odd, but I thought Dell had finally worked out how to play rugby when he got done for coke. Sorry to not see Hayman back, he is a great player and I enjoyed watching him play

    Tahs v Force

At the time, I thought Ewen moving on was the best thing for the tahs and for Ewen. The prbloem was that the leather arm patch brigade stuffed up the replacement for Ewen and so we ended up with hickey, who looked great on paper but that is all.

Force player of the match v Tahs

    3. Hodgson 2. Sharpe, yeah I though the was pretty good in this game 1. The force startig front row who more than held their own in the scrums

    Tahs v Force

I disagree, I thought the tahs biggest problem last night was that for 75 mins we were dominated at the breakdown and Hodgson had it all over Waugh. I am confident that we would have won easily had we have had parity at the breakdown (or if Barnes had of made his kicks). The fact that Waugh won...

    Palmer Gooone - Douglas Stays

Back onto the douglas brothers, in the words of Yoda - there is another. The third douglas brother has joined the sharks junior league set up. Also the oldest brother is just about to play his 100th consecutive NRL game which is very impressive for a young forward.

    Shute Shield 2010

Re: 2010 NSW Club Rugby Uni played Souths in senior trials last weekend (6/7 March). Souths won all four grades (according to the local rag anyway) although it was at home.

    The Tahs

Carter's form this year has been good and that has changed the whole carter scale, I guess thats inflation for you. He still has limitations in his game which will prevent him from being a 1st choice Rollaby, same goes for Burgess IMO. Anesi would be lucky to be 0.5 Carters this year.

Are you sure he wasn't running, nit walking? IT would be easy to get the two confused.

    Waratahs vs Lions. Sydney.

Spot on comments Hawko TPN's throwing is still a lottery. I can't see it getting better if Foley hasn't been able to fix it after 4 years. I thought we looked better with Holmes at 9, I was dissappointed they broght burgess back from the blood bin so quickly. Anese was the most surprising the...

Attendance Prediction : Tahs v Lions

Riddler, you left me out of your count so the correct figure should be 16,752 I still don't get all the moaing and groaning about last weeks game. Maybe you guys have been watching too many highlight videos over the offseason and forget that in between there is always some tough and messy stuff...
