Rd 9: Auckland Blues v ACT Brumbies, Sat, April 20 2024

Law 5.7 Although is does look like this Law hasn't quite.been updated to include the restart kick after a held-up I think Lolesio knows the rule, he just overshot the kick by half a metre

    Round 9 : Reds v Highlanders

Suncorp has a limit on number of events each year over certain crowd sizes, which means they have to "accurately" count how many attend each match. That's a long way of saying the government/stadium counts the crowd, not the team's themselves...

    Round 9 : Reds v Highlanders

It was a tick over 13k - 13,082 Broncs had 37k and Lions 30k. Only getting crowds like those would be a nice problem to have!

    Western Force 2024

Very interested to see what this team can do for the rest of the year with Carter, Rodda and Beale on the park, plus those other signings. They are going to shock some teams

Super Rugby Pacific 2024 The Run Home

I think it's possible, but the Highlanders, Drua and MP (Moana Pasifika) all play each other in the next little while. Any of them need three more wins to probably make the finals If one of those teams can sweep the other, they'd probably just need one more win from somewhere else

Round 9: Force vs Crusaders: HBF Park, Perth: Saturday 20th April

Just saw a replay. Even if you accept it was a late dip, he shoulder charged him. There was no wrap

Round 9: Force vs Crusaders: HBF Park, Perth: Saturday 20th April

How is that high tackle missed? Surely a guy stumbling all over the place and taken off for an HIA would cause the TMO to have a look?

    Queensland Reds 2024

I wouldn't have thought the players union would let a contract like that happen. Only standard march payments and a salary

Burgess was selected to start for England at 12 in the World Cup in his 4th ever start at the position! I actually think it's amazing that he went as well as he did

    Queensland Reds 2024

It's pretty upsetting for Jordy P. Been a pro rugby player for 7 years and now (although probably too simplistic and possibly unfair) averaging 7.5 games starting for the Reds and 3 for the Wallabies each year That's got to come into the equation for future contracts. Have we expected too much...

Super Rugby 2024: NZ, Drua & Moana matches

Soon after half time, on a kick return, Jordie made an identical upright tackle to the one which knocked Petaia out earlier this year. Just luck we didn't have the same result. Tackle school hasn't worked for him

    Round 9 : Reds v Highlanders

Such a good win. Imagine describing the backline on the field for the last 20 mins at the start of the season, and then saying they just destroyed a NZ side!

    Australian Rugby / RA

For me, grass roots is entry level rugby. It's where players play their first ever game. Not the juicy green tips way up at the top level with paid staff and former Wallabies on the field.

Super Rugby 2024: NZ, Drua & Moana matches

Strewthcobber's general rule of rugby - team that stuffs up a kickoff always loses. This game is over!

Super Rugby 2024: NZ, Drua & Moana matches

Final pass was forward, but that was a great Hurricane counter attacking try

Super Rugby 2024: NZ, Drua & Moana matches

I just don't understand what they are looking at?

6 tries in 13 games. His Saitama Wild Knights team are undefeated

Always wondered, do many players move from QPR or colts to league comps, or have they usually made the decision by the time they are at that level? I guess I'm wondering what sort of payment do the "amateur" guys in rugby need to convince them to head over?

Rd 9: Auckland Blues v ACT Brumbies, Sat, April 20 2024

Any Australian team trying to win at Eden Park is up against it. I don't expect the Brumbies to win, but it's pretty exciting that it seems like they just about should
