Too much competition and money in the NRL too. They got what, 16 teams? Maybe RA need a strategy that is aimed at bringing the entire NRL down so we can have all the players. I just can't stop thinking that the NRL have 16 teams full of players and we can't even manage to fill 5 teams. Think...

    Wallabies 2023

I think I'm in the third group. Super Rugby keeps around 60%-70% of the best players and 30-40% play overseas. Super Rugby gets their act together with NZ and it remains a premier rugby competition and whilst the European competition are equally as good its generally a different playing style...

So you want Koro to play McCabes role and just run straight and get smashed? Kerevi and Pasami already do this but they have better passing, kicking and more experience at 12.

Also, I think Koro, Kerevi, and Cooper have proven you don't need to remain a super xv player to remain a test level player. If you've proven yourself at test level then going to places like Japan can actually be better for their longevity and even skillset. I think this was one of those big...

I'd argue that builds depth rather then reduces it. Having Koro, Kerevi play overseas gives 5 other wingers and centres in Australia the opportunity for game time. Being closer to the action in Aus is probably better for there development and getting Test level ready. Sure it would be nice to...

His passing is non-existentant and I fear with no experience would get caught out in defense too often. Why on earth would you switch arguably the best winger in the world to centre where he would be average for at least 2-3 years while he learns the position and then is too old and retires. As...

It certainly has changed my mind regarding Deans. Well Cheika did that more-so then anyone. A consistent ranking of 2/3 seems like a dream now.

Yeah if your comparing Donald to Carter he looks average, but compare him to Noah and he looks more like a champion. I'd take Donald over Noah especially if its the RWC 2011 Final version where he played brilliantly.

Well yeah if your comparing him to Smith that's all true. But I'd argue Smith is over-rated too or had an equally average series. I think we just need more then "well he didn't do much wrong" from a player in a key playmaking position.

I agree, love Lolesio in a well structured Brumbies at super 15 level. But at test level you just need so much more. We need some-one who can create something, create some space, or threaten the line, ideally all of those. He's a solid player but I feel will always just be an average option...

I thought McReight has been mixed in the Aus A games. Also giving away penalities and making errors. Not where near as good as he has been for the Reds.

Is Gamble fit? He's like a big 7 or a Hybrid 6. He's had a great season at the Tahs.

On the discipline point, much of that is made from pressure. When your defending fast front foot ball or defending on the line so often your bound to either let in tries or make penalties. I feel if we are more accurate at the breakdown, more capable at slowing opposition ball, stronger in the...

I do agree with most of this post, Rennies record is not good. But I would argue compared to Chieka, tactically we are better. So many Cheika games we had no strategy at all, remember out inability to exit our 22, those repeated chip kicks in our own 22? It was a nightmare to watch. I feel now...

    Brumbies 2023

Depends what you want from your 7. Reimer an out and out fetcher. I feel Brown is average at winning turnovers but he's just so great into contact and doing the physical stuff. I see Brown as a 6/7 and Reimer solely an openside.

FB or 12 for sure. I think 10 is a stretch for any League convert. Not sure his distribution game would be that good. Could be proven wrong though.

Australia v England: Match III, SCG, Sat 16th July 7.55pm AEST

I agree, failure to award dominance in play with points is very Cheika-esque. Although I believe Rennie is still much more dynamic and adaptive then Cheika.

I think 7/10. I think our lack of cattle is telling, so it will take time to really build skills and depth which you can see happening. The coach can only do so much and everything he's done so far is pretty solid.

    Likely Paisami to 12.

I think Quade is possibly the most key player in the squad given the lack of depth at 10. Or maybe the 'final piece of the puzzle' is better then 'key' given how close we came this series.
