That is very interesting indeed. Maybe it really does just come down to those few key moments we needed to be more clinical. Which honestly is probably more of a worry. How do you make players be more clinical in that "last pass". Experience would help but that takes time and some players just...

I agree, look at all the top renowned players who aren't opensides who performed exceptionally well this series. Itoje, Tadhg Berirne, Courtney Lawes, Malcolm Marx etc. All players who made turnovers and competed well at the breakdown.

I have high hopes for Holloway. I also love the look of T Hooper at 6 for next year. It might be one year too soon but a great future prospect. Where is McMahon these days?

His running game is fine, same with Leota's. Even with the 'chariots of fire' style, it's effective. I think it's the breakdown accuracy and work that's lacking from our 6's.

Players should least be able to play for NZ team's in super rugby and vice versa. I think this would potentially be an answer to make Aus teams stronger, and also watching non-domestic games more interesting. If Hooper played for the Highlanders and Barrett for the Tahs, would make it more...

Still think it's a stretch too far at 12, I don't think his running game is that good anymore, nor his defense. But I love the sound of a fit and in form JOC (James O'Connor) at 10, let Quade and JOC (James O'Connor) fight it out.

Actually I think he disrupts it, cos now they can play Paismi 12, Petaia 13. Campbell 15.

Could shift Noah to 12, but probably too small in the modern game these days.

Judging a player's ability at the international level by looking at there last games at international level... it doesn't sound that ridiculous to me. I think most, like myself, haven't seen that much of the NH games. It sounds like he is doing very well up there, which is great, still doesn't...

Well Skelton has 0 good games for the wallabies, and Arnold has one good season. I rate Arnold highly but how some people are talking about him on this forum you would think he is Eben Etzebeth or the 2014 version of Brodie Retallick. Even as a Brumbies fan, I think he's a solid rugby player...

    Wallabies 2023

I hope this is the case. If not, I think Arnold should be the first dropped given how much depth we have at lock at the moment.

I think Cooper played a big part in those wins didn't he? I think it should be: Cooper/Kerevi: 4-0 SA and Argentina Lolesio/Paisami: 0-3 Scotland and Wales Big difference. A Cooper/Paisami pairing has got to be better then a Lolesio/Paisami. Maybe Kerevi isn't the key man (although still very...

Because Simone had an outstanding super XV season. Depends what your goals are, if it's pick the player with next year in mind then you'd go with Foketi, but if it's simply to pick the best player for the next Test then it's Simone. Simone was preferred over Foketi until those poor performing...

Is Jock Campbell really 27? Thought he was much younger.

    Wallabies 2023

My first thoughts too. However, he had a great super XV season and was very good into contact (something missing from the wallabies and is the closest like to like with Kerevi). So if your picking purely based on super xv form then Simone is the next in line. Having said that, weird choice...

    Who is Ben O'Donnell?

Neither is the record against NZ. Some teams are just better then us. Comparing Cheika and Rennie based on there record against England is very limited. And somehow you've managed to imply a record of 7-0 (0%) is the same as 1-3 (25%). If we are using your logic then 25% is a heap better then 0%.

    Wallabies 2023

I agree the problem almost certainly is deeper but I disagree regarding Rennie and Cheika, both have very different styles of coaching.

    Wallabies 2023

You know Cheika doesn't analysis the opposition. So he only knows the 2013-15 Tahs and 2014-19 Wallabies. You can safely assume he knows 0% about any other players besides those two teams. ;)

Ironically I have always been critical of JOC (James O'Connor) since his return to Aus due to his lack of speed and running game. I just don't see him making line-breaks or threatening the line. But I agree in game 2 he looked threatening. The best footwork I've seen from him in a long time. Sorry about the rest...
