    My little rant (Giteau)

Re: My little rant Winning is a habit I would like to see the Wallabies develop sooner rather than later. I agree that the best available team should be playing in every test, with the Tri Nations and Bledisloe Cup being the priority. There are a few midweek and non tri nations tests coming...

Australia's S14 Captain of the Season

there, their and they're - sound the same, but mean different things. There are some Reds supporters over there. They're very happy that their team has improved so much this season.

Lote continues to show his class

Dally Messenger, Rex Mossop, Aurthur Summons, Dick Thornett, Steve Knight, Ray Price, Michael O'Connor....some of the best ever league players were ex Wallabies. The difference is that these days the best rugby players stay in rugby.

    Semi 2: Stormers vs Tahs

Fitness will be a big factor I think, as getting through the defensive lines of either team will likely be a challenge without a 'nothing held back' onslaught. That kind of game can really sap the energy. The other issue is what the Waratahs do with defensive lineouts. The Stormers lineout is...

    Bokke Pre 3 Nations tests

with any luck both the Stormers and Bulls squads will be available for selection come Sunday ;)

    Wallaby Squad Predictions 2010!

If Weekes is available I would definitely like to see him in the mix. With Higginbotham's injury I guess Hoiles could go into 8 and Mowen move to 6. The other player who I think would do a good job is Dave Dennis. I think Hoiles does a lot of good work around the park, but just isn't much of...

    Semi 2: Stormers vs Tahs

That's just Australian for "the team we are playing next week" (as in that seminal work on the subject by one Van Humphries: "C*nts I've Rolled").

    Wallaby Squad Predictions 2010!

The first problem is that 22 players will be needed for each team, and i would expect the whole 22 to be used in each match. For that reason I would go with two separate groups of 22 (with the potential for migration between the two groups due to injuries or form). The teams I would like to see...

    Complain much?

+1, and if I could be bothered trying to find it, I might paste my posts to the same effect

    Videos - Highlight packages

I can help with that job - don't bother looking for anything much from this season. Beyond that, I think the biggest problem will be what to leave out from all the previous ones.

    Semi 2: Stormers vs Tahs

OK Waratah supporters, enough of the pleasantries: come next Saturday, how are we going to roll these c*nts?

    Wallaby Squad Predictions 2010!

I would pick him ahead of Saia Fainga'a.

Australia's S14 Captain of the Season

I agree with WJ: 1.Sharpe (tough job in a losing team, but he kept them going, and played brilliantly) 2.Waugh (some tactical decisions were not to my taste, but he got the Tahs over the line a few times through his skill, determination, and ability to motivate) 3. Genia (mainly led by example...

    The Finals

Waratahs: Fuck that - making the semis is mission NOT completed. Winning the s14 is mission completed.

G&GR Reds Player of the Match (v Highlanders)

    3. TPN 2. Mumm 1. Mitchell Oh, you mean the Reds v Highlanders game... 3. Cooper 2. Hynes 1. Van Humphries (even though his punching was way to inaccurate for mine) Great to see Hardman go out on a high. Genia was very strong too - definitely the Reds' player of the season.

    The Hickey Must go thread

I'm still struggling with the Anesi issue. To give Hickey the benefit of the doubt, I'm going to say the reason he is so positive about Anesi's contribution is that Hickey wants to be loyal to his players. Surely come season end Anesi will be packing his bags (?!) Hickey is a slow learner...

Waratahs v Hurricanes, SFS - Revenge of the Dell

Pollock realised this and started setting the packs very close together (and telling them to "keep it up"). I thought that Pollock was very good - although I was unhappy with some of his decisions at the breakdown (but that could just be my one good blue eye playing tricks).
