Where did we go wrong? Wallaby Recovery thread.

Higgers was one of the most, if not THE most improved, Aus forward this year up until his injury. While he was at the Reds and with the Wobs during the same period he reminded me a lot of Andy Powell. As pointed out he sea gulled a lot and his upright running style made it easier to turn the...

Never said he had a good game. Was just agreeing that he did some good things in the game. Apart from Hooper and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) I wouldn't say any Wob player covered themselves in glory, doesn't mean everything they did was bad though.

Completely agree and thumbs up isn't enough on this one. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) is one of the few solid pillars in the Wobs, he shouldn't be moved around to accommodate players who don't perform as well or as consistently. He should be one of the rocks that Link builds his team around. I've always been an...

Normally agree with a lot of what Michael Lynagh has to say but I can't agree with his praise for JOC (James O'Connor)'s performance.

I thought Kurindrani did well creating some holes in the ABs defence. But the rest of the back line didn't support him or anyone else who made a break or committed the ABs defence.

    3. Hooper 2. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) 1. No one else stood out enough.

I'm sure Link knew he had a big task ahead of him, but the performance tonight just made that abundantly clear. Not many positives for the Wobs. Those who performed well regularly under Deans were probably the best players for the Wobs tonight while the others need a hell of a lot of...

Without committed support runners the pass to no one from the Aus players that make a break are just automatic turnovers. Need a lot of work on their support running, would like to see guys busting themselves to get there just on the off chance the player throws one of those.

If Richie is rusty God help SA and the Argies later in TRC.

Where's the deception in the Wobs attack. Not committing the defence and making it easy for NZ to shut down attacks and read passes for intercepts.

Fuck off with this booing Cooper shit.

The gulf in the quality of the kicking from both teams was a big factor in that try.

For me Moggs' run and then pass to no one summed up the good and bad of the Wobs play today.

Hooper's been excellent. But if the Wobs are going to win this one they'll need a number of their players to outplay the AB counterpart. Can't see too many doing that on the basis of the first half. But part of the magic of rugby is that players can be completely transformed during those...

I'd say it's a mix of nerves, his team mates not doing him any favours and the ABs being excellent at pressuring the kick with committed chasers.

I would take JOC (James O'Connor) off at half time, but I'm not Link, I'm sure he knows better.

Excellent try by Aus. Structure hasn't been great so far but Aus are always dangerous in broken play. Might take time for Link to make them dangerous when it's more structured.

ABs have been good but Aus are gifting them points. It's tough enough to beat NZ when you play your best.

Christmas came early for Cruden and it seems that Lilo was his secret Santa.
