Thats true but if our 10 performs next week as JOC (James O'Connor) did yesterday we are toast. JOCs ceiling is much higher than Noahs for now. Let’s aim for that and start McDermott with him. They seem to have a better combination.

Folau Fainga'a had a good game, maybe his best. Wright was guilty of handing momentum back to the Scots. He was OK, certainly not an 8. Leota was good but I still prefer Swinton at 6. Arnold and Skelton are less mobile than Philip and Swain and really didn’t lend more weight in attack or defence...

We certainly did not get the rub of the green with Poite but we also turned over the pill often in the first half with silly 50/50 passes. I thought both Paisami and Ikitau were poor and that JOC (James O'Connor) was way too deep and did nothing to control the tempo of the game. We really missed Quade pulling...

How did he end up at the Brumbies? NSW have a habit of just pushing the talent away.

You guys have got to be kidding. The bloke has played 92 tests and is still playing top quality rugby in France. Have a look at some of his games. He is still a far better fullback than either Banks or Hodge and like JOC (James O'Connor) and Cooper now has a much better head on his shoulders.

I’m sure that is where we are going. Big pack, kick to the corners and strangle the Scots out of it in the first 50-60 minutes. Tackle, tackle, tackle Then open up the game late.

You will have Skelton and Tupou coming on at around the same time. McDermott, Beale and Perese are not too shabby on the bench either.

Looks strong. The only change I would make is Latu in for McInerney. Looking forward to this game.

We need the pack to give JOC (James O'Connor) and Paisami space, and we have the pack to do it. I’d like to see Arnold start with Skelton, Latu and Beale on the bench this week. Thats a big ask and probably not fair on the lock that misses out but we need these guys up to speed for the England game.

He is there purely as a backup for Hooper. Samu can also cover 7 at a pinch. They really should have taken McReight on this trip instead of McMahon. Colby is a good choice at this point though.

I dont understand the sentiment that certain players would have signed contracts with the understanding that they would not play test rugby. If you have retired from test rugby formally sure, but even then you may answer a distress call from your country in need. Players like Cooper and Beale...

I just cannot see it in him. I hope for him to prove me wrong. He is fine as a back up off the bench.

I think Marinos is just annoyed like us. We were on a roll and turned our fortunes around and then……….poof. Quade and Kerevi gone. The whole situation was pretty fluid due to covid and Kerevi being round after the 7s. I imagine RA will work on putting something more predictable in place for next...

Quade was a big step above. Kerevi too. They both made a massive difference to our performance and results. Hope there is a way to keep them on board between now and the RWC.

I’m sure thats pretty close to what happened. My point is that moving forward they should both make it clear to their clubs that they wish to continue to play for Australia. They only get one career and now that the door is open I reckon they will both be keen to jump through.

Noah on the way and will be on the bench you would think. There is room there for Beale as well as the reserve back 3 player. I would guess that Latu will get a run off the bench if ready, Arnold as well maybe but it is hard to fault our three current 23 locks. Samu is good in the lineout. 6...

    Wallabies 2021

They both seem to want to keep playing for Australia and say they are “angry” and ”hurt”. Seems pretty clear they were both forced into a decision they did not want to make. It reinforces their clubs weight in all of this. Both players, but particularly Kerevi, have a lot of pull and could...

If we start Petaia, Daugunu and Kellaway in the back 3 both can be on the bench.

Hegarty? No. Cant be giving jerseys away. DP has been in the frame this year and Beale has earned his stripes many times over. When will we know?

Gotta pull in Duncan P. And Beale. Put them on the bench v Scotland
