Vickerman hasn't played at any level in months and months, while I'd love to see him back to full fitness in time for the WC I am seriously doubting that it's going to happen. Having said that, there must be some reason he's decided to come back.

I actually think the reverse might work. A lot of the realy bad injuries seem to happpen when players hit at v high speed. If everyone was a 130kg prop playing on a 40m by 30m field I think we would see much fewer concussions and head injuries
