    Waratahs 2011 post mortem

Let it go boys, neither of you needed to post the above - it achieves precisely nothing. Play the ball, not the man and all that.

    ARU Advertisement

Hats off to the ARU, I'm well and truly impressed. The long version looks like it got a little, um, inspiration from a certain GAGR video from a few months ago!

The Elsom Saga - Clubs withdrawing offers is all the rage...

If I read this in the Herald this week I'm going to shit myself laughing.

    Wallabies Trinations Squad

No idea, although I recall seeing a photo of the Tahs training in the Herald a week or so ago and Horne was running around in one of the opposing team vests they use. So I assume he's back almost to playing - just in time for the end of the season, although maybe he'll be in the mix for the...

    Shute Shield 2011

Hmm if I wasn't playing I'd be heading down to check Vicks run around. I'm sure one of our esteemed members can fill us in at some point next week anyway?

Oh hang on, I assume you're saying the problem is with Elsom, BJ?

    TPN gone for 3N...

So we find out today just how serious it is. Fingers crossed it's not as bad as the article says it could be.

The Elsom Saga - Clubs withdrawing offers is all the rage...

There's about a 5000 page thread on this from a month or so ago, but IMO Sharpie would be the go.

Semi Final 1: Blues vs Waratahs

Well I can't say I'm as enthusiastic as I was on saturday night about our prospects but it is what it is and I just want to see them go out there and give it everything. Although if they do pull out all the stops to win this one I reckon the week after may be just a bridge too far, especially...

Semi Final Qualifier 2: Crusaders v Sharks: Nelson

    Shute Shield 2011

Haven't seen that much of him this year but by all accounts he seems to be playing pretty well. I played in the age group above him at Wests all through juniors and I can say he's a good bloke and a good West Harbour clubman.

    Finals predictions

Apologies, RH, my intended tone might not have come across. Saying "If the Tahs win every game from here then they'll be the CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!! Take that Qld!!" was meant to be inane and so self evident a statement as to show how stupid a lot of the comments have been recently. For the record...

The Elsom Saga - Clubs withdrawing offers is all the rage...

I think the quote from Vern Reid was that JOC (James O'Connor) wanted two international outside backs to play outside him at the Force, so unless we're having a Spiro moment I don't think Rocky would've been in that list. I also don't know how the Rebels would afford him either? $2 base salary and some nice...

Tahs vs Brumbies. Give us a hand mate? 2011R18

Have to say he did pretty well considering how long he's been gone, whether he gets fitness up to playing 80m for the WC I don't know but I think the chances are better than I thought after watching him tonight
