    Wallabies v France 1st test - Suncorp 7 June

Is barely 30k through the gates at one of the traditionally better attended venues deeply concerning for the ARU?

    South Africa vs World XV

Looking forward to see how our Wallaby contingent go, three players who I'd argue would be in contention for a starting spot with the national team if they had not left these shores.

    Force Vs Lions Rnd 15

Just a smidge over 10k to a Force home game against South African opposition (should bring in a few expats) during a season where they are competing for a finals place for the first time. This same side used to pull 25k on the regular when they were terrible at an AFL stadium that is rubbish for...

    Reds 2014

Why did we think it was a good idea to sign RG again? All that good work he did at the Force was it?

    Reds v Crusaders

How good is Nemani Nadolo doing on the wing for the Crusdaders this year? I still vividly remember this guy running over the entire BBC team, including Will Genia, on his way to the match winner for Nudgee in 2005.

ASICS partners with Australian Rugby Union from 2014

To be fair it's based on the 1974 kit (see below). As I said a few pages back in this thread I'd love to see a Wallabies reincarnation from that era.

ASICS partners with Australian Rugby Union from 2014

The only decent Australian national team jersey to be released this year: Sign a global apparel company who have been doing kit design for the better of a century and you are likely to get something decent. Kooga and ASICS are not in the same ballpark as Nike and Adidas. You can clearly...

    Blues v Reds

Do we agree that Richard Graham is a large part of the problem here? A coach lives and dies by his team's results, and the Reds have gone from playing smart to just plain dumb rugby in the space of a season.

    Exit from Super Rugby?

I can't say I agree. I'm an avid Chicago Bulls fan. Have been since I was a kid because of the Michael Jordan legacy, but I haven't tasted any semblance of success in my time watching basketball and I still love and support the team. That's defiantly not the description of a bandwagoner. Just...

    Reds vs Brumbies - Rd9 2014

Unfortunate the Reds couldn't get up for this one. It's been hard to watch them go backwards over the last two years, even though they've keep the core of the team in tact and their star players are still in their prime. Injuries and in my opinion poor tactics go a long way for explaining it.

ANZAC XV - Aus/NZ vs the World

Wouldn't it much more logistically achievable and memorable to just hold the first Bledisloe Cup game of the year on the actual ANZAC Day? I'm sure the Super Rugby teams would be willing to release their selected players for a one off match. The schedule would need a little fiddling but nothing...

ASICS partners with Australian Rugby Union from 2014

Another garish Wallabies jersey in my opinion. The Socceroos have recently reinstated their classic jersey, and I think it's time rugby follows suit:

    Rebels v Brumbies Rnd 7 2014

There's nothing quite like a game of rugby to get the emotions going.

    Brumbies 2014

It's likely Pocock will never play at the same level he did before these injuries. He has youth on his side and I'm sure he will be back playing professional rugby in some capacity again, but two ACL injuries to the same knee WILL reduce his physical ability to perform. It's extremely...

    Waratahs vs Reds - R3 2014

I keep harping on about crowds but it does concern me. We know Sydneysiders are among the most fickle sports fan in the world, but if the Tahs can't get more than that after coming off a good win, against a traditional rival in the assumed home of Australian rugby than there is something very...

Super Rugby Round Three: Rebels v Cheetahs, Friday 28 Feb, AAMI Park

Never said it was. But as 10k crowds are barely sustainable it is a major one. Just goes to show how poorly rugby is fairing at the moment. Sorry to be so negative.

Super Rugby Round Three: Rebels v Cheetahs, Friday 28 Feb, AAMI Park

Not a great crowd. Hopefully with success comes fans but they have a long way to go if they want to compete with the Storm and Victory for crowd numbers.

    Super Rugby jerseys 2014

It should sell. Similar concept style to some of the Adidas designed Stade Francais kits we've seen over the years.

    Brumbies 2014

Seems like a bizarre decision. After all the work he's put in over the years he finally reaches the ultimate level for a professional rugby and decides it's not for him a year out from a world cup? I just wonder whether he will regret letting go such a unique opportunity later in life. Good luck...

3rd tier is back in 2014 [Discontinued]

I I'm a fan of aligning the teams with a state based franchise.
