    Springboks v Wallabies, Newlands, September 28 2013

In my time watching rugby seriously (since about 2003), I don't recall a series of games where the Wallabies have looked so unpolished. I sure hope Mckenzie knows what he's doing, because from where I am sitting, it doesn't get much worse than this.

    Arg v SA - 2nd Test 24th Aug

SA 22- Arg 17 Wow what difference a week makes. Even though they still lost, coming off a 60 point thrashing and an unchanged Bok lineup, the Argies are a formidable beast at home.

New Zealand vs Australia - Bledisloe 2, 24th August 2013

MMM is made of glass. I can't claim to know much about his playing days overseas but his injury rate in Australia has been diabolical.

Aus vs NZ - 1st Test Sydney 17Aug2013

Folau's lack of involvement tonight is a concern to me. We are mad for not giving him a bigger role. JOC (James O'Connor) got a lot of good quality ball that I would like to have seen go to Folau on the other side of the field. We don't give him enough high ball to chase either. The guy was a king in the air in...

Aus vs NZ - 1st Test Sydney 17Aug2013

It should be tough for teams to play in Australia. But it isn't. That was an All Blacks home game minus the bad weather.

Aus vs NZ - 1st Test Sydney 17Aug2013

My theory is the Wallabies performances in recent times are directly linked to KooGa. We never played nearly this bad, or wore jerseys this bad, before they signed on to be our kit supplier.

Aus vs NZ - 1st Test Sydney 17Aug2013

Jesse Mogg is a Super Rugby player. Our lack of depth at fullback is embarrassing.

Aus vs NZ - 1st Test Sydney 17Aug2013

If they can't get up for a game like this after everything that's happened then what hope is there.

Aus vs NZ - 1st Test Sydney 17Aug2013

Link handed 6 players their Test debuts against the ALL BLACKS. It doesn't work like that.

    What happened to beginner's luck?

Aus vs NZ - 1st Test Sydney 17Aug2013

Surely the worst Australian coaching debut in history.

Aus vs NZ - 1st Test Sydney 17Aug2013

Is this the worst performing generation of Wallabies in history?

    Super rugby 2012 attendances

So the Kings managed to average 31 783 in their first year and now they're out? I assume those numbers are inflated by free and cheap tickets.

    S18 on its way

And that would be the only reason for keeping South Africa around. However, how much would this be offset by a better television product in our neck of the woods?

    S18 on its way

If you are going to go down that path you might as well just have two separate competitions. If you are not going to play teams in the other conference during the regular season due to logistics and maximising local derbies, then you might as well keep it that way in the finals.

Southern Kings OUT of Super Rugby next year

I personally love both soccer (football) and rugby. If you find the former boring it's because you haven't delved deep enough. Without a doubt it's brought me the biggest joys as a sports fan. Back on topic. I think a year in the CC will do the Kings some good. As long as the SARU can keep it...

2013 Super Rugby Final - CHIEFS v BRUMBIES

Brumbies needed to score a try when they were attacking deep inside the Chief's 22 around the 60 minute mark. Instead George Smith ran it instead of passing to the unmarked men outside him. That and Nic White's failure to find touch were the turning points. Ah well.
