Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

Yep, I like this option a lot. I make no apologies for being a big fan of QC (Quade Cooper) but that being said I am aware he does have his faults and wouldn't support his inclusion on blind faith. I don't believe he is the right option off the bench even if he is playing well. He needs time on the park to do...

Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

I get what you are saying Dan but all of that would be dependent on whether the prop in question was intentionally angling in or not. It may be worth looking at 6 & 7 at the same time to see who they are binding on to. McCaw is the master of sliding up the side of his prop before angling in and...

Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

This would go against everything that Cheika has done to create the uber-competitive environment within the squad. Finally we have a squad with great depth across the park and have enjoyed three good wins with varying combinations. I see no reason why he couldn't tinker with a couple of...

Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

Couldn't agree more........especially considering there is always a chance that either side may end up as RWC champions without meeting one another throughout the tournament.

What is the issue with Horne at the moment?

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

I would love to see some stats to support the claim that Foley is defensively superior to QC (Quade Cooper) during the last three matches......that is a honest request and I am not simply being confrontational. Similarly, I would love to see some stats showing Giteau as a defensive concern. Sure he is a...

Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

IMO, it is time to risk it and give Henry a run. It wasn't too long ago we were counting the clock until he finally became eligible to play and now that he is "we" don't even want to give him a shot? At his best he is electric and could tear the likes of Wales & England apart out wide. The more...

Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

Yep, Hansen is between a rock and a very hard place. Both the goat and DC are not in the best of form but I highly doubt he is going to drop either of them for next weekend. Any other match and I suspect he may have given them both a rest......Carter looks like a shadow of his former self and...

Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

I may be a wee bit pessimistic here but I can't see us beating the AB's at Eden Park next week without our halves both having great games. If the rest of the team can replicate to intensity and commitment shown last week then we may just end up on top. There will be absolutely no margin for...

Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

Regardless of whether or not folks think Phipps & Foley should or shouldn't be benched after their performances last Saturday, I have a hard time believing Cheika will keep them in the starting side given the "highly competitive" environment he has created. By chalking their performances up to a...

Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

Just had a quick read of Bob's article on the GAGR front page. He made a few interesting comments and his suggestion of moving Gits to #10, TK to #12 and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) to #13 would be worth a shot IMHO. At the very least it would save us all the Foley V Cooper V To'omua debate this week ;)

What is status of Genia? Is he going to be available?

Bledisloe #1 - AUS v NZL, ANZ Stadium, Sydney, August 8th

Of all three halfbacks, Genia has the least offensive temperament. Add to that he also has the "coolest head" in big games. Do not underestimate the value to COMPOSURE in the big matches. We are slowly starting to see the great value that Giteau brings to the team in this regard.

Bledisloe #1 - AUS v NZL, ANZ Stadium, Sydney, August 8th

Oh what a load of bulldust that is......"the receivers fault"......really? The bloody grass was the receiver. He was completely rattled from the start and only got worse as the game progressed. His yellow card was a blessing as Cheik probably would have left him on the park a while longer...

CLASSIC......THANK YOU DP !!!! Now you can relate to how most of us Wallaby fans have felt for the last decade or so ;)

Bledisloe #1 - AUS v NZL, ANZ Stadium, Sydney, August 8th

Yes, it will be very bloody interesting to see what Shag does with his selections this week. DC was fairly poor by his own standards tonight but I am wondering if Shag will have the cajones to deny the great DC his Eden Park farewell alongside the Goat.

Bledisloe #1 - AUS v NZL, ANZ Stadium, Sydney, August 8th

For mine the only two players I feel played poorly enough to be dropped are Phipps & Foley. I suspect that Cheiks plan was to give QC (Quade Cooper) a run next week regardless of the result tonight so it will be very interesting to see who he goes with. One thing is for sure, Nic White "earnt" a run on next...

I thought the lineout was only really going to suffer if we played with the Pooper and the big willy at the same time?

Bledisloe #1 - AUS v NZL, ANZ Stadium, Sydney, August 8th

Maybe not "drop".......such a harsh word. Would it be nicer if it was a simple "rotation" to give TPN some more game time? They are going to come at us with everything next week and try to blow us of the park just to make a point and I could see TPN's physicality coming in very handy for the...
