    Waratahs 2022

Vest is similar to Angus Scott-Young in size and height, has had two very good seasons for UQ in 2020/21. Was their MVP in 2020 and very close again this year. His lineout skills are good , gets off the ground quickly and steers/directs a driving maul well. Probably more importantly , he lifts...

    Waratahs 2022

His biggest issue playing QPR last year was his very evident lack of fitness and was too gone come scrum time to dominate the way he normally would and did in his years playing for the Reds in Super Rugby and GPS in QPR. He basically looked well short of a run ( and maybe a bit injured?), I'm...

    Wallabies 2021

No issue heading over , but they will need to do 2 weeks coming home as per everyone else. Our International border is still closed , talk of home quarantine for the double vaccinated is a possibility for 2022. Those that tour will have a short preseason into Super Rugby with it starting so early.

    Qld Premier Rugby 2022

As you say , an agents' job is to provide opportunities for their contracted players. Picone is definitely doing his job in that department. Guess the question is whether the opportunities they get presented with are in their best long term interests . That's something that his players have to...

Wallabies v Argentina Sat 2 October CBus Stadium

I was thinking the same thing Dru, then watched the second game . Just goes to show you how many Kiwis and South Africans live on the GC .

Wallabies v Argentina Sat 2 October CBus Stadium

Left wing is left wing , always on the left sideline . Blind side is the short side of the field from the breakdown or scrum , it can be either left or right. Number 11 gets announced as left winger due to the way we write on a page ( old school ) . The modern game has 14 as a second fullback...

Heenan and Berrange both locked in for UQ next year. That will make 12 years straight for Mick , quite an effort !

Agree Koro will leave a big hole work rate wise . People use to give Hooper a hard time about playing like an extra centre ( now thankfully not the case) , with Koro you get a winger playing like an extra back rower who still manages to do all the wing stuff as well. Think the back row balance...

    TRC2021 - All Blacks v Springboks, Oct 2, 2021

GC Bulletin has the last round of TRC at CBus Stadium as a sell out crowd and Dan Herbert in his roll in the RWC 2027 bid claiming it as an endorsement for us hosting the RWC. Fuck I hope the Covid numbers stay down !

The NRL Final is on Sunday night , no way Anna will cut crowds before then …..

    Reds 2022

Both were looking for a more direct pathway to a starting position. With JOC (James O'Connor)'s injury woes , Gordon may have got his opportunity with the Reds sooner than predicted had he stayed ( and maybe had a different manager...)

    Wallabies 2021

He missed a fair chunk of this year’s preseason , maybe those in the know think that’s been an issue for him this year ? There have been a few in the past that have come back from end of season tours well over their ideal playing weight and the shorter preseason isn’t enough to get them to get...

    TRC2021 - Wallabies v Pumas @ Townsville 25/09

What position has McMahon been playing in Japan ? Would he automatically jump in front of Fraser McReight if Hooper had a rest ?

    Wallabies 2021

Think they both qualify for both England and Aus as well as Italy, due to their mother ( and birth?). Might just be the PR story , but apparently Tom has always supported the Wallabies. Cheered for them along side his Dad while they were knocking England out of the 2015 RWC.

Risk v reward for the Reds with Tom , wouldn't have been a huge gamble assuming he is essentially on a development contract. They will get that back in publicity, it's great that he wants to be here.

Michael Lynagh has two rugby playing sons. Louis plays wing for Harlequins and is the one picked by Jones in the England train on squad . Tom is the younger brother who plays 10 and has just arrived at the Reds

    QLD Premier Rugby 2021

Wilkin is/was contracted to the Rebels until the end of the 2022 season , maybe just tying to get a run on the paddock like the rest of his non-Wallaby team mates ? Would imagine Shute Shield would normally see a few of the broader Rebels’ squad in the back half of their season . QPR was the...

    TRC2021 - Wallabies v Boks @ Suncorp 18/09

In the still frame that Tragic posted you can a lot of the issue is poor technique, should have been a left shoulder tackle driving off his left lead leg hitting up under the ball. His lead leg is actually in a good position to make a strong tackle , just hit with the wrong shoulder in too...

Can’t see how an international starting #6 only had 40 minutes in him , but tonight I was glad to see that’s all he had .
