    TRC2021 - Wallabies v Boks @ Suncorp 18/09

Just think JOC (James O'Connor) would bring more from the back field than Banks can . Maybe create something on the counter? Step into a second playmaker on a wide blindside to put a little more indecision in the defensive alignment? Not like he hasn’t done it before , regularly fields kicks in back play for...

    Wallabies 2021

Article this afternoon has Rennie quoted as saying McMahon could well be the fittest player in the squad and is in the mix for the first game against the Argies. The fitness team are apparently singing his praises after converting his room to a gym during quarantine and he has hit camp in great...

    TRC2021 - Wallabies v Boks @ Suncorp 18/09

Yeah agree , but with Hodge , Kellaway and Petaia in the match day 23 you still have possible coverage for JOC (James O'Connor) at 15.

    TRC2021 - Wallabies v Boks @ Suncorp 18/09

I'd like to see JOC (James O'Connor) take Banks' spot. Would like to see our attack with a second playmaker at 15, rather than someone who is solid under a high ball and kicks well for line off a penalty. Hopefully Banks has a blinder and proves he is more than that.

Not sure Wallis has a Reds’ contract for next year, or at least it hasn’t been announced at this stage. Know he is keen to stay in Brisbane so will be interesting to see which direction he goes .

    Waratahs 2022

Heard at the UQ Presentation Awards last night that their #8 Lona Halaholo has picked up a Tah’s contract for next year. Will be keen to see what he can do being in a professional set up. The commentators during the QPR grand final were calling him the find of the season. This was his first year...

Would love Norths to have a cracking year! So who goes there? Recrutement is king , something that all clubs have to place front and centre .

^ If you think Souths conditioning was poor, what are your thoughts on Wests?

    QLD Premier Rugby 2021

Your first point is key and a lot of it revolves around their conditioning. Plenty in the UQ forward pack capable of playing the full 80, even both the starting props. When you consider the speed that UQ play with that is impressive. But the biggest improvement from last year has been set...

Absolutely, training within a professional squad is a great opportunity for these young lads. Not saying they should only get picked up from QPR , but there is value in them playing QPR. There have been improvements in Thomas’ and Nasser’s games over the course of the QPR season that I’ve...

Kalani got noticeably better as the season went on, his first few games for UQ were far from memorable. Same for Nasser before his injury, he was showing improvement getting regular minutes playing a position he hadn't played prior to the Reds' switching him to #2. The idea of young fellas...

Yesterday's GF was Pat Morrey's 100th First Grade game, nice way celebrate the milestone. Pretty sure he has played in all of the six past GF's that UQ have made. Thought both he and Richards spoke well during the presentations, plenty of respect shown by both captains. Well done to all...

21 all final score in Colts 2 on Rugby Xplorer . Is that another shared premiership? Or does it get awarded on a count back of tries then penalties? Three tries a piece , but Brothers kicked two penalties after missing all three conversions. UQ finished with three converted tries . Anyone at the...

Don’t think the GPS supporters will be happy with the tipping options there Jets ……… UQ v Brothers?

    Reds 2022

Both UQ and GPS have been lucky enough to have little change to their lineups over the season, think that has more to do with their success than the number of Reds' players. McDermott hasn't played at all this year. Nasser has been injured since Rd 8 and ASY (Angus Scott-Young) played about three games before...

Well done gents, that's a great effort for a winger and player in a team regularly getting beaten to get the award.

    QLD Premier Rugby 2021

If Wests can get that aspect of their match management sorted , they are a real chance. Their ruck defence in the second half of games this year has presented way too many opportunities for opposing teams, nice way of saying it's been poor. A lot of line-up changes throughout the year , maybe a...
