Wales v Australia, Sunday 21st 4.30 am ADST.

Should he have kicked it though? 90 secs on the clock, if he manages to find support and a ruck is formed , the whole Welsh team minus the fullback are offside with our support players coming forward onto the ball . The game would have nearly been over by the time they were back onside.

Agree regarding Hunter’s running lines and the role he should play . He can absolutely get us over the advantage line , particularly if that is the main role he is given . JOC (James O'Connor) will need to play a little flatter though otherwise the lines are too easy to read for the defence. For me the biggest...

    Qld Premier Rugby 2022

Hope they all stay where they are. I know Ripley is on a full contract , doesn’t mean he makes the match day squad . Glen Vaihu and Carter Gordon spent a reasonable amount of time this year playing QPR for Wests. Just saying if he isn’t in the match day 23 , running around for UQ isn’t a bad...

    Qld Premier Rugby 2022

Think most the UQ lads who picked up contracts are on trial and train basis. Could see Vest and Halaholo back from the Tahs and Wallis and Ripley back from the Rebels. Hopefully for their sake they are kept on. Think another season of First grade would be great development for Ripley.

Don't actually know if that has been upgraded at this stage, was just taking the piss.

In that case Wallis and Ripley will be heading across to the kennel.... ;)

Forward runners don’t always have to come off 10. Agree JOC (James O'Connor) has been playing too deep in attack , but the ball movement to him in general play should have forward runners as an alternative option to the ball going directly to 10. If the 10 is playing flat he will bring more forward runners into...

    Reds 2022

You can be the third best hooker at the Brumbies and still get a Wallaby jersey, so anything’s possible ( insert appropriate emoji). Just can’t see our best 23 being available every week.

    Reds 2022

A back three of Daugunu , Vunivalu and Petaia would be exciting to watch, but yeah agree , it's a reasonably solid season and think we will see plenty of Campbell , Grealy and Flook.

Who would he be competing with for the 9 jersey at Brothers? He definitely needs to be playing First grade, too many Reds’ nines at UQ for him to get a crack.

    Reds 2022

Watched a few of his games , played the full 80mins in the matches I saw and was great in his toiling work around the rucks . The hard work he does is an often over looked quality and I wonder if that’s what the Wallabies are missing ATM . Good to see the hard work being rewarded rather than a...

    QLD Colts 2022

Can't see any issues with UQ's coaching team for Colts. Ingram has good involvement at this level, Slater was an AC under Heeno for about three years in Prems prior to Elton. Up stream of Colts 1 both 1st and 2nd grade coaching line ups remain the same as this year. Got a hunch they will all...

    Brumbies 2022

Nathan Grey was the Junior Wallaby head coach this year . Unfortunately never got the team on the field , would have been largely the same group that Hewat coached in the U18’s in 2019. Coaches like players improve , he was well received by the U20’s this year. Wouldn’t have been easy job...

    Qld Premier Rugby 2022

What’s old is new again at UQ with former attack coach for Prems under Heeno , John Slater , named as assistant coach for Colts 1 under Matt Ingram who has been the DOR at UQ this year. Don’t think missing finals went down too well. It’s a pretty solid coaching set up with 1st and 2nd grade...

    Wallabies 2021

Yeah agree , it's a balancing act getting the best players on the field and disrupting the cohesion and team spirit within the group. Hopefully and addition of a couple of players at a time , rather than wholesale changes, doesn't cause too much disruption. Even though it may be back to...

Scotland vs Australia - Murrayfield, 8 Nov 1:15AM AEDT

Rugby Planet reporting Scotland have ruled prop Rory Sutherland and flanker Rory Darge both out of the game against the Wallabies due to injury.

    Rebels 2022

Keen to see how Lukas Ripley goes next year . Only a young fella , but his improvement this year was quite phenomenal to watch . Spent the first half of the season doing injury rehab . Couple of halves of Colts footy then straight into First Grade. Started in the 13 jersey for UQ in the QPR...
